Children and Teens will get to experience the election process throughout the summer by voting for books. Kids will be separated by grade level. A small selection of books will be listed for each group to vote on during their primaries. Debates, posters, buttons and campaign commercials for their favorite books will be created by the children in the program. Winning books selections will be announced at the end of the summer. Week June 6-10 Location: Texas Forestry Museum, 1905 Atkinson Description: Children entering 5th, 6th, & 7th grade in the fall are invited to a day camp where they will travel all over East Texas learning about forestry and nature related subjects. Ages: entering 5th 7th grades Price: $75 ($70 for Kid s Club members) Time: 9am 3pm idance Zumba Kids Camp June Location: Changing Lives Dance Center Description: Each day is dedicated to learning about a different culture! The kids get a snack and a lunch, learn a cultural dance and some fun facts, as well as enjoy a play break, and a craft project!
