1 Galleries Photos and Videos Having rich media on your site can be very useful in engaging your audience. There are two main types of Galleries that you can create: 1. Photos 2. Videos 1 Photo Gallery In order to add a photo gallery to your page, you need to create a Gallery section and you also need to have already added your photos to your media library. 1. Firstly, create a section and call it Photo Galleries or something similar. 2. Apply the Gallery Page page layout to this section a. Modify the section, click on the Page Layouts tab and set Gallery Page as the page layout for the and testinternet channels

2 Once you have created the page, you can then add as many galleries as you wish to the page. To start a gallery, add a single piece of content to the page using the Gallery Description content type. To add the Gallery Description : 4. Give the piece of content a Name e.g. Departmental Photos 5. Name of Gallery: Give the gallery a name. This will be displayed on the page as the title of your series of photos / images. 6. color list: this is the colour of the title block. 7. Gallery description: this is a brief text description for the series of photos / images. 8. Click Add and Approve (or Update and Approve if modifying an Next, you will need to add your photos to the page. The image files must already be in your media library. 3 8. Gallery ID: Give the gallery an ID (e.g. 001). For each subsequent piece of content that you add using the Gallery Row Photos content type that you want to be part of a specific gallery, make sure the Gallery ID field is the same for all. This basically ties the rows together into one gallery so that when the user is browsing the photos, they can click the arrows in the light box to move between all photos in the gallery, no matter how many rows you add. 9. Video 1 Caption: give the video a caption. You then specify the link to the video. The supported services are YouTube and HEAnet. You only need to specify ONE URL. 7. Video 1 URL YouTube: This is the address of the video on YouTube e.g Video 1 URL Heanet: This is the number at the end of your HEAnet URL e.g. Your link is the portion shown in red is what you copy in to the HEAnet field. 9.
