Q: What types of ecards are available? A: There are invitation, thank you, blank, and newsletter ecard templates. Q: How do I send an ecard? A: Use these steps to send an ecard using the ecard Manager: Selecting your ecard Template 1. Select ecard Manager on the top navigation. 2. Select New ecard. 3. Select the template by clicking on a specific ecard you want to send. 4. Enter your content. 5. Select Next. 6. Review your template o You can print your layout
2 o You can go back and change content by selecting Back o After reviewing your template, select Next Creating Your ecard Content 1. Enter your content for ecard. 2. Select recipient options from the drop down menu: o Manually entering addresses Enter addresses in the box provided below. o Choosing from a list You must first upload lists before you will have any options. Once you have uploaded lists (see the next point to learn how to upload an list) you will select the list you would like to use from the Available Lists section and then select Add. Once you re ready to send, select Send Now! o Uploading a list of addresses Before you begin, note that lists must be saved as a.txt or text file. You can do this in a text editing program or you can save your list as a.txt in word processing programs. Select Browse on the Upload List pop-up box. Select the.txt file you would like to upload. Select Upload. A pop-up box detailing the status of the import will appear, select OK. Select Back. Select Choosing from a list. (Follow the steps in the Choosing from a list section above.) Q: How do I check the status of the ecards I ve sent? A: Under ecard Manager in the main navigation, click the ecard Status link, which will display the Manage My ecards page. This page shows you the status of the ecards you ve sent. On this page, you will see: Details: Click here to view the details of the ecard. This page will show you the date you sent the ecard, who it was from, the subject line, the status, and a preview of the ecard. It also shows you the recipients of your ecard and how many of those recipients have received and viewed your ecard. Plus, with invitation ecards, you can see which recipients have accepted or declined your invitation. You can also sort the recipients of your ecard by clicking on the column headings Name, , and Status. To return to the Manage My ecards page, click Back at the top right hand corner of the page. Date: This option shows you the date the ecard was sent, the date content was added to an ecard, or the date you approved a preview of your ecard.
3 From: This option shows who the ecard was from. Subject: The subject line you used for the ecard is displayed here. Status: The status of your ecard Sent, Preview Approved, Content Added, and so forth is shown here. Preview: Click on the thumbnails in this column to preview your ecard. Add: If you want to add recipients to your , you can do so by clicking Add Recipients here. Delete: Delete ecards from your status list by clicking the check box correlating to your ecard and then clicking Delete. You can also sort the ecards in this list by clicking on the column headers. Q: Can I set up my ecards so that I don t have to re-enter my name, phone number, address, DBWS URL, and so forth each time I create an ecard? If so, how?
4 A: You can save yourself time by creating your ecard settings. Under the ecard Manager main navigation link, go to ecard Settings. On this page, you can enter your information. This information will remain the same on the ecards you send out, such as your name, your phone number, your address, and the URL of your Demonstrator Business Web Site. Whatever you enter here will automatically show each time you create an ecard. After you ve entered your information, click Save at the bottom of the page. Note: Currently, there are no ecard templates that will allow you to add your own photo to them. So if you add a photo here, it will not display on your ecards. Q: I added a photo to the ecard Settings page, but it isn t showing up on my ecards. What s happened? A: Currently, there are no ecard templates that will allow you to add your own photo to them. So if you add a photo here, it will not display on your ecards.
5 Q: How do I send the same ecard I ve sent before to additional people? A: Under the ecard Manager main navigation link, go to ecard Status. From this page, find the ecard you d like to send to additional people, and click Add Recipients. At this point, you ll be able to add more recipients and re-send this ecard. Q: How do I know if the recipients of my ecards have received or viewed them? A: Under the ecard Manager main navigation link, go to ecard Status. Find the ecard you re curious about, and click on the Details link for that ecard in the left hand column. In the Status column on the right hand side, you will see which recipients have received your ecards (the Status will say Sent ) and which have viewed them (the status will say Viewed on X date. ) Q: How do I know if the recipients of an invitation ecard I ve sent have accepted or declined? A: Under the ecard Manager main navigation link, go to ecard Status. Find the invitation ecard you re curious about, and click on the Details link for that ecard in the left hand column. On this page, you ll see a Status column on the right hand side. There you will see which recipients have received your ecards (the status will say Sent ) and which have either accepted or declined your invitation (the status will say Accepted on X date or Declined on X date. )
