Road safety 4 Various measures on TfL roads and on borough roads via LIP funding. Road safety cameras; support to road safety campaigns Page 16 9 th Dec 2010 Siemens
17 London Experience Now Congestion increase Congestion has risen back to pre-charging levels but would be much worse without the charge. This rise in congestion is due to: widespread water and gas main replacement works, which have greatly reduced the road capacity traffic management measures to help pedestrians and other road users Western Extension Removal The London Mayor has committed to the removal of the Western Extension Zone and after consulting the London public, this will happen at the end of 2010 It is not yet known what the impact of this removal will have in terms of lost revenue, congestion increase, traffic increase, pollution target achievements Page 17 9 th Dec 2010 Siemens
