2 The Follo Line 22 km new double-track railway line between Oslo S and Ski No stations between Oslo S and Ski Designed for at least 200 km/h or higher Preliminary budget of EUR 1,53 billions (will be adjusted)

3 The Follo Line: background The Follo Line will meet the increased demand for rail capacity south of Oslo: 1,1 million inhabitants in the region passengers every day 30 % population increase by 2025 Road traffic is increasing Currently no spare capacity on neither rail nor road.

4 The Follo Line: the gate to Europe Use of The Follo Line as the innermost part of a possible new high-speed line to Sweden. May give the decision of the speedstandard for the Follo Line

Supply power to points heaters, lighting, emergency lighting, fans, drainage pumps and other technical railway systems. Redundancy is planned in the form of two-way feed and UPC units. Earthing concept Longitudinal earth leads will be established.

New converter planned 100 MV (Different project) Possibly located in the mountain near Oslo S. If so, autotransformer located in the same space.
