The water level is controlled by rain and the rapid become more challenging during rainy season, November to April. Like another rivers in tropical area, the water temperature is between O C and the air is O C, So no need to use special gear like wet suit. Serayu River have some rapid class III to III+ while Progo River is bigger than Serayu. During rainy season has some IV IV+ rapids. T e a m s : This event is the Australasian Championship officially recognized by IRF. Any international teams are welcome. However; only countries that are members of the IRF may qualify. 3 Entry fee Race rules Rafts and equipment Transport : US$100 per team member (maximum 12 participant/team), included transportation from and to the airport, accommodation, all meals, transport on and off from the river during event, trip to Borobudur Park (One of Seven Wonder) : The race format will be according to the IRF rules. Please refer to Official raft will be the PVC boat from China which have length 390cm, width 185cm, tubes 52cm, thwarts 2, with foot loops. These rafts provided by the organizer. Teams are responsible for their own PFD, paddles, paddling clothing, throw bags and any additional paddling accessories they might require. : For all competitors who will arrive with airplane, organizer will provide transport free of charge from airport Adi Soetjipto/Jogjakarta, to the place of accommodation, transport to the Progo River and back, and all other transports to competition area. It will takes 2.5 hours from Jogjakarta to Wonosobo. There are some flight to Jogjakarta from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (Air Asia & Garuda Indonesia) If the plane go directly to Jakarta, from Soekarno Hatta International Airport fly to Jogjakarta (many flight) or Teams can go by train. Accommodation : Organizer will provide accommodation free of charge for all competitors and participant registered during competition on the Serayu River (22 nd to 25 th April) and Progo River ( 26 th to 28 th April/morning).

Meals will be combined with Indonesian and International food. We need your suggestions for creating food menu in the hotels, and we please you to write in registration form if you have special requirements ie. Moslem or vegetarian. : Uniform/traditional costume and performance Please prepare for maximum5 minutes performance for Opening Ceremony. There will be a special reward for the Best Performance. : This event will be televised by our national television and we will invite some Asia print media (Action Asia, National Geographic etc). Branding for teams are allowed on: - Helmet, except in front side - Paddle - Clothing - Bank of the River and off the River: unlimited, placement arrangement in coordination with Organizing Committee concerned. : Registration form is posted at the IRF site ( and there you need to fill all required information (team names, names of participants, substitutes and other stuff, etc.)

Judges who will come to this event need to send confirmation at the address: judges@2010arc.com. All IRF judges are welcome. : Organizer will provide prizes for winning teams V i s a s : 1. A free visa for a short visit (up to 30 days) is given to 11 countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Macao, Morocco, Peru, Chili, and Vietnam. 2. A Visa on Arrival must be obtained by 63 countries and one special territory. This visa can be obtained as soon as they arrive in Indonesia. These countries include : America, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Finland, Hungary, England, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Norway, France, Poland, Switzerland, New Zealand, Aljazair, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Holland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Fiji, India, Iran, Ireland, Iceland, Cambodia, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Egypt, Monaco, Oman, Panama, Portugal, Qatar, China, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Tunisia, Greece and one territory in Taiwan.

Travellers granted a Visa on Arrival may enter Indonesia through selected points of entry, including - Airports : Polonia (Medan), Sultan Syarif Kasim - H (Pekanbaru), Tabing (Padang), Soekarno Hatta (Jakarta), Adi Sutjipto (Jogjakarta), Juanda (Surabaya), Ngurah Rai (Bali), and Sam Ratulangi (Manado). Seaports : Sekupang Batu Ampar, Nongsa, Marina Teluk Senimba (Batam), Bandar Bintan Telani Lagoi, Bandar Sri Udana Lobarn (Tanjung Uban), Belawan (Belawan), Sibolga (Sibolga), Yos Sudarso (Durnai), Teluk Bayur (Padang), Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Padang Bai (Bali), Jayapura (Jayapura), and Seven Harbours. The official entry requirements for the issuance of a 30 or 7 days day visa-on arrival: 1. Passport must be from one of the countries listed above. 2. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesia. 3. Payment of US$10 or US$25 must be paid at the gateway, depending on the length of visa required. 4. Onward or return tickets are compulsory. 5. Visitors must enter and exit through one of the airports or seaports officially approved as an international gateway by the Indonesian Immigration department. 4. Visitors from countries excluded from this facility need to obtain the visa from the Indonesia Embassy in their country of origin. Visitors staying for 7 days in Indonesia are obliged to pay US$10 per person, while those staying for 8-30 days must pay US$25 per person. Departure tax for international destinations is Rp ,- per person and Rp ,- per person for domestic destinations.
