Many manufacturers simply combine ordinary abrasive grit with an extremely hard bond. This produces a wheel that vibrates due to its hardness and is therefore uncomfortable to use. Also to make progress, more force is required thus increasing user fatigue. RECA T6 abrasive wheels use a medium/hard bond but specially selected abrasive grit. The abrasive grit is the highest quality raw material and the carborundum used is graded by size and shape as well as quality. The abrasive grit is the part that makes the cut and the bond is only the part that holds the grit. This ensures the premium wheels always have a sharp, hard wearing cutting edge.
