2 1 5 Humanitarian of the Year Internet Marketing Campaign of the Year qualifying candidates may include a builder developer, remodeler or associate hba member or an employee thereof. candidate work record based on present to the individual or company whose charitable efforts most impacted a chicagoland community in efforts can include fundraisers or donation of time, money, products or services. internet marketing campaign is defined as a connected series of messages communicated through the internet and designed to bring about a particular result. to qualify, the campaign must include the user of multiple internet marketing options website, banners, s, surveys, social media sites, etc. the entry must have been introduced in the chicagoland market between january 1, 2014 and july 1, entries will be judged on creativity, originality and continuity of the theme of the campaign, the use of appropriate media, the expected results and excellence in concept, copy, layout, overall design and communication of the campaign s objectives. 2 Showroom/Sales Center showroom/sales center must have been open for sales in entries will be judged on the most complete, functional, appealing and pertinent execution of central sales design, merchandising, use of graphics marketing materials and displays, traffic flow and cost effectiveness. 3 Sales Brochure of the Year 6 Marketing Campaign/Promotion of the Year marketing campaign is defined as a connected series of messages or events designed to bring about a particular result. must have been promoted in at least one public medium that may include any or all of the following: print advertising, direct mail, television and or radio spots, billboards, etc. the entry must have been introduced in the chicago market between january 1, 2014 and july 1, entries will be judged on creativity, originality and continuity of the theme of the campaign, the use of appropriate media, the expected results and excellence in concept, copy, layout, overall design and communication of the campaign s objectives. entries are to be product-oriented brochures used by on-site personnel in the direct sales and marketing efforts for a builder between january 1, 2014 and july 1, entries will be judged on the best overall theme, graphic design, use of photography and visuals and effective communication to the target market. 4 Website of the Year website must have been live between january 1, 2014 and july 1, 2015 entries will be judged on theme, graphic design, communication, user friendliness, navigation, and cost effectiveness. 3 7 Print Ad of the Year ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY A BUILDER based on work record candidate will be judged on outstanding achievements in new home loan generation and closing volume, financing techniques, philosophies, customer follow-up, industry involvement, professionalism and results Direct Mail Piece of the Year business to business or business to consumer entries must have been mailed out in the chicagoland market between january 1, 2014 and july 1, entries will be judged on strength of communications, design elements, impact, cost effectiveness and results Mortgage Professional of the Year entries must have been published in the chicagoland market between january 1, 2014 and july 1, entries will be judged on the best overall creative concept, copy, layout design execution and communication of the creative objective. Event of the Year event of the year entries are limited to promotions which began with an invitation or announcement and ended with an event. the event must have been exposed in at least one public medium: print advertising, direct mail, television and or radio spots, billboards, etc. the event must have been held in the chicagoland market between january 1, 2014 and july 1, entries will be judged on originality, cost effectiveness, ability to meet stated marketing objective and communication. Construction Superintendent of the Year ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY A BUILDER for a full-time employee of a builder responsible for the day-today management of sub-contractors and vendors involved in the construction process. all candidates must be employed by a current member of the hba. candidate work record based on candidates will be judged on success in the field by outstanding achievement and innovative approach to scheduling subcontractors, customer satisfaction, success in overcoming obstacles, and quality of construction, building volume, budget management and timeliness of job completion along with continuing education and professionalism in ethics and attitude and overall performance Radio Commerical of the Year entries may be of any length, entries must have aired in the chicagoland market between january 1, 2014 and july 1, 2015 entries will be judge on the most effective at meeting the communication objectives, as well as for production techniques, creativity and impact. Television/video Promotion of the Year entries may be of any length, entries must have aired in the chicagoland market between january 1, 2014 and july 1, entries will be judged on the most effective at meeting its communications goals, as well as for production techniques, creativity and impact. 4 14 15 Signage signage refers to the community or directional signage provided by a developer to guide consumers around the community and is not represented by permanent monuments. signage must have been displayed january 1, 2014 july entries will be judge on concept, basic graphics and layout, design, execution, readability, continuity and cost effectiveness.
