The SitecoreGraduate Recruitment Scheme is a comprehensive programme that aims to train and certify new graduates with the Sitecoretechnology and help them find promising careers with leading organisations in the digital sector. The scheme is a free programme offered to graduates who are fresh out of university. It provides them with the opportunity to get certified in SitecoreTechnology and find the best start to their careers. Why are we running the Graduate Recruitment Scheme? Sitecore sresounding growth over the past decade and the introduction of its acclaimed Customer Engagement Platform in 2011 has created a massive demand for SitecoreCertified Professionals in the market today. The SitecoreGraduate Recruitment Scheme aims to ensure that a healthy stream of young Sitecore evangelists with fresh thinking is constantly supplied to the market to meet this demand. Sitecorenot only creates new jobs for the economy, but also helps to train and develop suitable candidates and then give them that all-important opportunity to jump start their new careers. What are its benefits? All graduates selected for the scheme will be given free training on Sitecore Technology, valued at over 2,000. Candidates who pass the certification examinations will then be awarded an official Sitecore Developer Certification. 5 What is the process? STEP #1 Application Students who wish to be considered for the Sitecore Graduate Requirement Scheme should the following details to A covering letter explaining why you wish to be considered for this scheme Your current complete curriculum vitae Name of the university you graduated at and the year of graduation Deadline for applications: 3 rd March 2012 STEP #2 Aptitude Tests All candidates who are interested in the scheme will go through an aptitude test to evaluate their suitability for the programme. This test will be held in central London and successful candidates will be then invited to the training programme. Next aptitude test dates: rd March 2012, in London STEP #3 Job Fair Candidates who pass the aptitude tests will then be given the opportunity to meet key representatives from Sitecore ssolution Partner network who are looking to employ Sitecorecertified developers. Sitecorewill facilitate a job fair where the candidates can meet their potential employers and discuss employment possibilities. Sitecorewill make sure all candidates who complete the programme successfully get due attention from the Solution Partners who are looking to make hires. Solution Partners will have access to candidate CV s and aptitude test results and will be inviting candidates for interviews during the job fair. 6 STEP #4 Training Candidates who pass the aptitude test will also go through a series of Sitecore training courses for a period of 4 days, regardless of whether an offer of employment has been made during the job fair. This training will be conducted in central London. Next training programme dates: 2 5 th April 2012, in London The training will build on the candidate s existing.net and C# programming experience through the following courses: SitecoreCMS Developer Foundations Course (SDF): Candidates will learn the fundamental concepts for building solutions with Sitecore technology (Sitecore CMS). This hands-on developer course features live demonstrations, formal reviews, questions and answers, and guided student exercises. SitecoreCMS website.net Developer (SND) Course: Candidates will learn to master the fundamental concepts and techniques for building powerful website solutions with SitecoreCMS. This.NET Developer course features live demonstrations, formal reviews, questions and answers, guided student exercises, and an online certification exam. SitecoreCMS.NET Developer Prototyping (DOP) Course: This hands-on, instructor-led, workshop styled course let s students practice the basic concepts and techniques mastered in SitecoreCMS Website.NET Developer. It is the ultimate session to put what you learnt into practise. Examinations : Both SDF and SND courses will require all students to pass a multiple-choice examination at the end of each course.

7 STEP #5 Certification Though candidates successfully complete their training programme during the course of the training period, their official SitecoreCertification will be awarded only once they have completed a minimum of 6 months employment with their Sitecore Partner. During this 6 month period candidates will have full access to all of the Sitecore reference resources provided to Certified Developers.
