13 AIP - Italia ENR ENR 1.4 CLASSIFICAZIONE DELLO SPAZIO AEREO ATS ATS AIRSPACE CLASSIFICATION ANNESSO 11 Capitolo 2 1 ORGANIZZAZIONE E CLASSIFICAZIONE DELLO SPAZIO AEREO ATS Lo spazio aereo italiano è classificato, secondo gli standard ICAO, nelle classi: A, C, D, E e G. Le classi B e F sono adottate ma non implementate. NOTE (1) Nel caso di spazio aereo contiguo, secondo quanto stabilito nell' Annesso 11 para 2.6.3, i voli condotti al livello comune, ottempereranno alle prescrizioni ed usufruiranno dei servizi relativi alla classe meno restrittiva, tranne quando tale livello comune si riferisce al limite superiore e/o inferiore di CTR o TMA, nel qual caso la classificazione sarà quella del CTR/TMA considerato. (2) Gli spazi aerei (diversi da aree P/R/D/TSA) in cui i Servizi ATS non sono forniti con orario H24, al di fuori degli orari di effettiva attivazione dei suddetti Servizi, assumeranno la classificazione e organizzazione dello spazio aereo in cui sono compresi. (3) Le aree R/D/TSA durante l'orario di servizio, specificato in ENR 5, non sono classificate. Ciò nonostante, lo spazio aereo relativo alle aree di cui sopra, al di fuori dell'orario di servizio o di effettiva attivazione (ancorché parziale), assumerà la classificazione ed organizzazione dello spazio aereo in cui tali aree sono lateralmente e/o verticalmente incluse. ANNEX 11 Chapter 2 1 ATS AIRSPACE SYSTEM AND CLASSIFICATION Italian airspace is classified, following ICAO standard, in the classes: A, C, D, E and G. Classes called B and F are adopted but not implemented. REMARKS (1) In case of adjoining airspaces, i.e. one above the other, criteria of Annex 11 para have been adopted. Flights at a common level will comply with the requirements of, and be given services applicable to, the less restrictive class of airspace. Such criteria do not apply if the common level refers to a CTR or TMA upper/lower limit; in this case the common level assumes the class of the CTR/ TMA concerned. (2) Airspaces (different from P/R/D/TSA areas) in which ATS Services are not provided on a 24 hours basis, will assume the classification and organization of the airspace in which they are included, during the hours in which the ATS services are not provided. (3) R/D/TSA areas during working hours, as reported in ENR 5, are not classified. However, these portions of airspace, out of workings hours or real activation periods (even if partial), will assume the classification and organization of the airspace in which they are laterally and/or vertically included. Lo spazio aereo INFERIORE è diviso in tre Regioni Informazioni Volo (FIR Milano, FIR Roma e FIR Brindisi); lo spazio aereo al di sopra delle tre FIR è definito come Regione Superiore Informazioni Volo (UIR). 1.1 UIR 1.1 UIR Questo spazio è stato ulteriormente suddiviso in due porzioni diversamente classificate: The LOWER airspace is divided into three Flight Information Regions (Milano FIR, Roma FIR and Brindisi FIR); airspace above FIR is defined as Upper Flight Information Region (UIR). L'Ente ATC, potrà approvare la richiesta o ritardare l'autorizzazione d'ingresso facendo attendere l'aeromobile o istradare il volo su rotte/quote scelte a discrezione ATC oppure sulle rotte VFR pubblicate in ENR 6.3. Le autorizzazioni ATC, anche quando emesse sotto forma di vettori radar, non sollevano il pilota in VFR dalla sua responsabilità di mantenere l'appropriata separazione dagli ostacoli e dal terreno. Se uniformarsi ad un'autorizzazione basata su un vettore radar o su una quota può determinare per il pilota l'impossibilità a mantenere la separazione dal terreno, il pilota deve informare l'atc e richiedere un'autorizzazione emendata. REMARK VFR aircraft intending to operate within class C and D airspaces and arriving from class E and G airspaces shall request an ATC clearance to enter the airspace concerned reporting the entry point, the route and the requested level. The entry clearance may be granted or delayed, in this case asking the aircraft to hold outside the concerned airspace or rerouting it on routes/altitudes at ATC discretion, or along VFR routes published in ENR 6.3. ATC clearances, even if issued in form of radar vectoring, do not raise the pilot flying in VFR from his responsibility of ensuring obstacle and terrain clearance. Pilot shall advise ATC and request an amended clearance every time compliance with radar vector or altitude given by ATC, does not permit the pilot to maintain terrain clearance.
