36 ADVICE 4LIFE FINANCIAL PLANNING CONSISTENCY COMPETITION: Four Monthly Point score Competition. Competed for in all Saturday Individual only events. Open to all Male financial Playing and Junior Members of the Parkes Golf Club. Points to be awarded for positions 1 to 15 in the field. A player who contests a Saturday individual event will be credited with five (5) points irrespective whether that player finishes in positions 1 to 15 in the field except if they NCR or are disqualified. The GA Countback System will be used to determine placings. The qualifying distance and amount of balls won will be as per the schedule below. If two (2) or more players finish within the qualifying distance on the same day, the closer distance will be declared the winner. If two (2) players have the same qualifying distance on the same day, then the player who played first will be declared the winner. Scores must be from an 18 Hole event where the player plays an individual ball from the White or Blue Tee Markers. Events restricted in entry, such as Junior or Veteran only, are not eligible. Parkes Open, Match Play and Charity days are not eligible events. In the Nett Division, half of the player s handicap as of the last Saturday in October will be deducted from the aggregate score for the 18 holes to determine a nett score. The lowest Scratch and Nett scores will be declared the winners. Competition cards must be signed and dated. A player can win only one division. McDERMOTT CUP: Singles Handicap Matchplay Championship. Qualifying Round: March Monthly Medal Saturday March 5th, Top sixteen (16) Nett scores to qualify. Positions in the seeded draw will be determined by the GA countback system. The number of strokes awarded is the difference between the player s Stroke handicaps. Where the difference is greater than 18, the player shall receive two (2) strokes per hole where applicable. When additional holes are required to determine the winner, strokes are awarded as per the original round. The Match Index is to be used to determine where strokes are received. Matches shall be played off the White Tee markers of the day. Matches are to be played by arrangement between the players s by the dates shown in the 2016 Programme Book. JACK BURCH 4BBB MATCHPLAY: Maximum 32 teams: First 32 to nominate accepted. All rounds to be played by arrangement between the teams by the dates shown in the 2016 Programme book. The number of Strokes awarded to each player is calculated by subtracting the lowest handicap of the foursome from the other three player s handicaps. Where the difference is greater than eighteen (18), the player shall receive two (2) strokes per hole where applicable. When additional holes are required to determine the winner, strokes are awarded as per the original round. The Match Index is to be used to determine where strokes are received. CLUB MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS (A, B and C GRADES): Qualifying Rounds: Saturday 30th April and Saturday 7th May, The eight (8) lowest Stroke scores in each grade from the two nominated rounds of Saturday 30th & 7th May, 2016, will qualify. Positions in the seeded draw will be determined by the GA Countback system. Matches in these competitions are to be played off scratch. All matches are to be played from the Blue Tee markers. Matches are to be played by arrangement between the players by the dates shown in the 2016 Programme book. CONDITIONS FOR ALL MATCHPLAY EVENTS: All matches are to commence from the 1 st Tee. The course is to be played as set up on the day of play. If the players / teams are unable to agree on at time a match is to played, the Match Committee has deemed that the match will commence at 1.00pm on the final day available as per the 2016 Programme book. A player / team MUST attend the course at that time and may claim the match if the other player / team has not attended by 1.10pm. If both player / teams, the match must be decided by whatever means on that day. If neither player / teams attend, then neither will be awarded the match. Inclement weather on the final day available will not be an excuse for the non-playing of a match. A Match can be played within a field for a Stroke play event; however players cannot compete in both a Stroke play and Match play events at the same time. An application for an extension of time to complete matches must be given to the Captain in writing a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the final day of play and endorsed by all players involved in the match. A maximum extension of seven (7) days will be available. All players or participants MUST be available to play any match on both Saturdays and Sundays in any Club competition event conducted by the club PLAY and WIN COMPETITION: Sponsored by TELESCOPE TYRES & BATTERIES The competition will be known as the Play and Win competition. The period of the competition is from March 5th, 2016 to October 29th, 2016 inclusive. The competition is restricted to Playing and Junior members of the Parkes Golf Club. To qualify for the competition, participants MUST contest a minimum of twelve (12) rounds of Saturday competition golf during the competition period. Each player who completes the qualification will receive in the draw: (a) One (1) ticket in the draw. (b) An additional ticket in the draw for every qualifying round played over the minimum twelve (12). The draw will take place at the Parkes Golf Club s Annual Presentation Night no earlier than 9.30pm. The winner MUST be present in the club at the time of the draw. The organizing body is the Match Committee of the Parkes Golf Club and any questions or disputes should be addressed to them via the Captain of the Parkes Golf Club. Any decision by the organizing body shall be final. The prize as displayed in the club throughout the year will be awarded to the winner. These goods are not-transferable for other goods or cash. FIELDS: Five or more players are required to form a competition which is club sponsored and Fifteen (15) or more players for a donated trophy although the final decision is given to the Match Committee.
