A maximum of 5 points for 1st place is allowed for championships that only have five teams competing for the championship. 1st 5 points, 2nd 4 points, etc. In the sports of Volleyball, Men s and Women s Basketball, Men s and Women s Tennis, Softball and Baseball points awarded based on finish at conference tournament. 6 points - 1st place, 5 points - 2nd place, 4 points - 3rd and 4th place, 2 points - 5th-8th place. Four (4) points (instead of 3.5) will be awarded to the teams when 3rd and 4th place are not exactly determined. Commissioner Cup points will come from the regular season standings even from those sports where there is one automatic bid and it goes to the conference tourney champion. In the case of ties, the points for the places tied are added and divided by the number of teams tied. Total points will be based on each schools highest point total for six sports. This total will then be divided by 6 for an average point total. The highest average wins the Commissioners Cup. The Commissioners Cup is awarded at the Awards Luncheon during the Annual Spring Meeting. Tie Breaker will be determined by the school with the most first place finishes, if still tied, then by second place finishes, etc.
9 GCAC Great Plains Athletic (GPAC) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic KIAC Golden State Athletic California Pacific Red River Mid-South Frontier Midlands Collegiate Athletic American Midwest Crossroads League The Sun Appalachian Athletic Cascade Collegiate KCAC If 6 conference schools participate in a sport, conference winner awarded 6 points, runner up 5 and so on down. Same principle in each sport. School with most points wins. Points based on conference finish The CCAC All-Sports Cup is awarded to the institution that earns the most total points in the 14 sports sponsored by the conference (men's & women's cross country, men's & women's soccer, volleyball, men's & women's basketball, men's golf, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track & field, baseball and softball) on an annual basis. Schools are awarded points based on their conference finish in each of those sports. An additional point is awarded to any school that claims a conference tournament title. Point system accumulation from all sports based upon regular season standings in each sport. A. Points will be awarded based on the final season standing or finish in each sport. The point scale is related to the number of teams competing in that sport. The champion receives the highest number of points and the remaining points are awarded in descending order of conference finish. B. Method of determining all-sports award: Total the points of the thirteen (13) sports plus one (1) point for each conference sport the institution sponsors and divide by the number of sponsored sports. The college with the highest mean score will win the All-Sports Award. A perpetual All-Sports Trophy will be displayed at the college that won the award the previous year. 6 points for #1, 5 points #2, etc. in all sports. Points by sport. Points awarded 10, 9, 8... based on finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd... Here is the breakdown of the Bandy Points awarded for each individual sport: points 5. 8 points 9. 1 point points 6. 7 points points 7. 6 points 4. 9 points 8. 3 points If there is a tie in the regular season standings, the points for the place finishing are added together and divided by the number of teams that tied. An example would be if two teams tied for first they would each receive 14.5 points ( divided by 2 = 14.5) while the next place finisher would be awarded the third place points. Awarding points from the final standings of each By a points system 10pts for 1st place; 9 points for 2nd place... 1 point for 10th place per sport.
