Fonderia Fazzini is an Italian company established in 1947, always working in the field of gravity die casting in aluminium alloys. The productive centre is located in Cardano al Campo - Italy on an area of 8000 sq. m, sq. m of which are indoors. The company has 11 employees. 3 PRODUCTION We are an industry specialised in the following production processes: - Designing and realisation of moulds for chill casting and die-castings. - Gravity die casting of aluminium alloy parts. - Gravity die casting of lap-joint aluminium flanges. - Surface treatment of the castings: deburring and sand-blasting. - Heat treatment: hardening, ageing, stabilisation. - Mechanical workings of drilling, tapping, boring, milling, turning. We have suppliers for the following production processes: - pressure die casting, also vacuum, of aluminium castings; - sand casting of aluminium alloys; - treatment of the surfaces: bolting, polishing, anodizing; - epoxy-coating, chromating, phosphating; - minuteness in iron, stainless steel, brass and other materials to insert in the castings. FOUNDRY Our technology and our foundry equipment, that allow us to be leader in Italy for the aluminium flanges production, are at our customers disposal for their castings. We are equipped with numerous and different gravity die casting machines of our exclusive design and realization. These machines, thanks to their lightness and speed, don't fear competition in the economical running of little series and in the rapid production of big quantities. We are able to execute heat treatment on castings to obtain more hardness or the best dimensional stability. We can also execute sand-blasting with stainless steel grit.

4 ALUMINIUM FLANGES We have been producing loose aluminium flanges for 35 years which we sell all over the Europe. Loose aluminium flanges, are an interesting alternative to those in other materials thanks to the following characteristics present at the same time into aluminium: - lightness; - strength; - good resistance to the corrosion; - cheapness. Our production program of flanges includes: - loose FLANGES for STEEL PIPES with collar according to UNI-DIN-ANSI standards. - loose FLANGES for PLASTIC PIPES - BLIND FLANGES - LITE flanges (Int. Pat. Appl.) - SPECIAL FLANGES (executed on customers drawing) We can also supply coated with epoxi-polyester powders flanges.

5 ALUMINIUM CASTING Our production range from castings of 3 grams to big casting of 22 kg., in general, heatly worked and anti corrosive alloys. Typology of some produced castings: - parts of telecommunication equipment; - parts of electromechanical, electric and lighting equipment; - parts of lighting apparatus; - parts of textile machines; - parts of balances; - head, depth and pistons for pneumatics; - piping connections; - connecting rod; - carter, boxes and covers; - parts of slicing machines and grinders.

6 We can supply castings complete of mechanical workings, metal inserts, protective surface treatments of polishing, anodic oxidation, chromating, painting.

7 CNC MECHANICAL WORKINGS MACHINING OF CASTINGS We are able to make, in an effective and economical way, precise mechanical-workings on castings in that we have a specific experience on working technology for the aluminium castings. We are equipped with nine vertical machining centres CNC that are rapid and suitable for workings on aluminium. We have also a turning lathe with CNC, multiple head drills, a transfer, and a lot of traditional machines-tools.

8 CNC MECHANICAL WORKINGS MOULDS AND CHILLS PRODUCTION Production equipment, like moulds and chills, are designed by ourselves through our foundry know-how and they are produced in our machine shop, which is equipped with up-to-date CNC milling machines, through CAD-CAM programs. Due to the fact that we are both the equipment producer and users, we can do opportunely and effectively all the functional checks and the settings up necessary to the optimal castings production. Our moulds are valued for their dimensional precision and for their long working life. CAM processing Execution

9 QUALITY We have been working in accordance with a quality program consistent with ISO Our quality program is not certified, but it is complete with procedures and the relating quality manual. We produce only with certified aluminium alloys. For the dimension control we are equipped with a measurement threedimensional centre and a surface-test tool, in addition to the numerous callipers and micrometers. For further controls we have a hard-meter, a survey-gas in the metal machine, an hydraulic pump and several equipments to test on pressure joint flanged. Part of our production has been tested by the German TÜV. We can supply with a such quality to meet our customers' requirements.
