1 1 Edit Master 1.1 Overview Edit Master as the name suggest allows us to edit the Masters data in the Software, rather than manually going on each screen and changing the details. Through Edit Masters you can Modify, Add or Delete Masters data for various options and Stock Types. We can set masterbulk jewelry definition rates and also define Properties (eg: name, size, clarity) for all stock types. We can also Add or Modify Customer, Supplier, Worker and Department/ Location details. You can Add Modify or Delete Voucher's. You can Predefine Archiving Path and location for the data that is meant to be moved etc Diamond Auto-Selection Diamond Auto-Selection let's you to predefine Packet number Prefixes or Sub-Numbers on the basis of Diamond properties. Step 1: Click on 'Miscellaneous' tab to open the drop down menu, from the drop down menu select 'Edit Master' option. Select 'Diamond Auto-Selection' tab and click on. 1. Select 'Diamond AutoSelection' tab 2. Click on 1
2 Step 2: Select the Stock type for which you want to define the details. Select the property from Master on whose basis you want the packet number to be generated. From Number Part option you can select Prefix if you want the packet number to have a prefix (eg: AB 001) here AB is the prefix we have assigned for the packet number 001 or you can assign sub-number (eg: AB ) here.01 is the sub-number given to packet number AB 001. Sort Id is like running number it denotes the number of packet number profile you have created. Enter Sort Id and click on 'OK'. 1. Select details and click 'OK' Step 3: Once stock type and property is defined we can go ahead and specify the packet number Prefixes or sub-numbers. 1. Click on 2
3 Step 4: Select relevant details and click 'OK'. 1. Select 'Shape' 2. Enter 'Prefix Part' 2. Click on 'OK' Step 5: We have successfully created a prefix, hence forth all the diamond packets for Shape type Marquise will start with 'MR' as defined in the above steps. You can similarly define Unique Prefixes or sub-numbers as per your requirement. 2. Click on 3
4 1.1.2 Stone Sizes Step 1: In Edit Master 'Stone Size' option allows us to predefine the Properties of the Stone. Select 'Stone Size' tab and click on. 1. Select 'Stone Size' tab 2. Click on Step 2: Enter relevant details and click 'OK'. Enter 'Shape' (eg: Round). Enter 'Up-to Weight ct/pc': (up-to weight is considered on the basis of Carat or number of Pieces) and 'Size'. 1. 5 1.1.3 Finished Category Master Step 1: Finished category master allows us to create different categories of finished items (eg: Bangles, Necklace). Click on 'Finished Category Master' Tab click on. 1. Select 'Finished Category Master' 2. Click on Step 2: Enter relevant details and click 'OK'. Display Name (how you want display the name in form). Display Name generates by default the moment you enter the name, you can also edit it as per your requirement. 'Stock No. Prefix' what initial your stock name should begin (eg: P for pendant, N for Necklace etc). Stock No. Prefix generates by default the moment you enter the name, you can also edit it as per your requirement. 'Default Pieces' (eg: Ear-ring has 2pcs. Hence enter 2). 'Parent Id' is only for Category type which are already a part of a stock type if not than it should remain 0 (eg: diamond pendant and color stone pendant are two different stock in the same category of Pendant which has the ID as 2 hence diamond pendant and color stone pendant will have their Parent Id as 2 ). 2. 6 1.1.4 Design Category Master Step 1: Design category master allows us to create different categories of Designs for Jewelry items (eg: Bangle Design, Necklace Design etc...). Click on 'Design Category Master' Tab and click on. 1. Select 'Design Category Master' 2. Click on Step 2: Enter relevant details and click 'OK'. Enter 'Name' of the Design. 'Design No. Prefix' what initial your stock name should begin (eg: P for pendant, N for Necklace etc). Design No. Prefix generates by default the moment you enter the name, you can also edit it as per your requirement. 'Parent Id' is only for stock type which are already a part of a stock type if not than it should remain 0 (eg: diamond pendant and color stone pendant are two different stock in the same category of Pendant). 2. 8 1.1.5 Saving Scheme Saving Scheme Feature allows us to Create different Schemes for customer and investors. The Saving Scheme Feature allows you to Create Saving Schemes in Gold or in Amount. Step 1: To Create Multiple Saving Scheme and print vouchers for the same 1. Click on 'Saving Schemes' Tab 2. Click on Step 2: Enter relevant details and click 'OK'. Installment Amount : Is the amount to be fixed and to be received as per Scheme, Installment amount could be Daily, Monthly etc... Grace Period(Days): Is the number of days to be allowed to pay the installment amount after the set date is passed. After which a fine is to be levied or the scheme might become void. Increase in Multiples of:?? 1. Enter 'Name' of the Scheme and 'No.Prefix' 5. Enter 'Installment Amt' and 'Grace Period(Days)' 2. Enter 'Start Date' of the Scheme 6. Bonus Installment is the installment to be paid by the issuer 3. Enter Scheme 'Type' 7. Enter Total number of Installments 4. Enter 'End Date' (Optional) 8. Enter Number of days in which the scheme will mature 10. Click 'OK' 9. Enter Comments (Optional) 8

10 1.1.6 Custom Filter Master Through Custom Filter Master you can define Filters to quicken the speed to search and display specific data for Stock Types or in Reports. Step 1: Select 'Custom Filter Master' Tab and click 1. Select 'Custom Filter Master Tab' 2. Click Step 2: Select the stock or Report Type or Stock Type to filter and click on to specify the filter types. 1. Select 'Stock' or 'Report Type' 2. Click 10

12 1.1.7 Mis Fields Master Mis Fields are additional blank columns added in Mis Reports and Certain Forms you can Add/Select data that you want to display in those columns. Step 1: Select relevant details and click 'OK' 1. Select 'Mis Fields Master' Tab 2. Click on Step 2: Enter relevant details and click 'OK' Field Name: Is for reference purpose to know on which field you have specified the filter. Type: Select 'Mis' if you want to print Mis column in Reports and Loose & Finished in Forms. 3. Select in which form to print 1. Enter 'Field Name' 2. Enter 'Type' 4. Click on 12

19 1.1.9 Company Fields Master Company Logo, Company Name and Address that needs to be printed on Various Vouchers and Bills were earlier pre-printed onto bills or they were Fixed (Hard-coded) into Software. The New feature 'Company Fields Master' allows us to manually add Company LOGO, Name and Address and various Company specific details. We can add image or write in text format for the same. Step 1: Click on relevant details and click 'OK' 2. Click 'Company Fiels Master' 1. Select 'Company' 3. Click Step 2: Add relevant details and click 'OK' allows us to add image stored in our computer (Hard Drive), even external drives (Pen Drives) if connected to the computer during the time of adding. You can also Scan the Image with the help of a scanner by click on 'Scan'. 1. click on Image Tab to Add Image or. 2. Click on Text to Add Text. 3. Click 19
20 Step 3: Select relevant details and click 'OK' 1. Company Header image file is added 2. Click 'OK' Step 4: Company Header is added, you can similarly add 'Company Name' and 'Logo' etc 1. Company Header is added 20
21 Bulk Jewelery Definition Master Bulk Jewelery definition Master allows us to differentiate or Further divide categories of existing stock type or name a current stock type as per our requirement. Step 1: Select relevant details and click 'OK' 1. Select Bulk Jewelery Definition Master tab 2. Click on Step 2: Select the Details and click 'OK' Field No: Is the stock type number that you want to add, there are up-to seven field of stock types that you can Add. Quantity Unit: In Quantity unit you can set the property of the stock type you are about to define is weighed in. 1. Select 'Field Number' 2. Enter Name of the stock type you want to define 3. Enter 'Sort ID' 4. Enter 'Quantity Unit' 5. Click on 'ADD' 21
22 Step 3: Select relevant details and click 'OK'... Applicable Stock: Is the stock that you want to further divide or categorize or rename. Filter name : Is used to categorize on the basis of which property. Auto-Match Select: Further allows you to refine your Categorization to get the exact result. 1. Select category of stock type 3. Select 'Shape' type 4. Enter 'AutoMatch Select' (Optional) 2. Select 'Filter name' Step 4: Selection Criteria is added, click OK to go to the next screen 1. Click 'OK' 22
23 Step 5: Bulk Jewelry stock type is created, you can similarly categorize multiple stock type as per your requirement 1. Bulk jewelry stock type is added 23
24 Voucher Types Step 1: Voucher are type of receipts that shows goods have been purchased or services have been rendered and payment have been made, it also links the transactions to the ledger account in which these transactions affect. Select 'Voucher Types', 'Company name'. Click on to add next reference prefixes for Voucher types. 1. Select 'Voucher Types' 2. Select 'Company name' 3. Click on Step 2: Enter relevant details and click 'OK'. Enter 'Name' of the voucher. 'Prefix' number is what initial your Voucher name should begin (eg: CRV for Cash Receipt Voucher). 'Next reference No'. is the series of number that should follow after prefix (eg: Receipt number CRV 001). 1. Enter 'Name' 2. Enter 'Prefix' 3. Enter 'Reference Number' 4. Click 'OK' 24
25 Step 3: Once the reference number is added click on to add the Voucher type. 1. Click Step 4: Add relevant fields and click 'OK'. 1. Click 'OK' 25
26 Step 5: Voucher is created you can multiple vouchers as per requirement. Click on to add another Voucher. 'Modify' to edit existing Voucher. 'Delete' to delete the voucher. 1. 'Voucher' is created 26

Select Stock type for which you want to make Trading Account 2. Select the Filter Type for the Stock you want to Filter Step 4: Enter relevant details and click 'OK' 1. Trading Account Stock details are added 1. Click 'Ok' 28
29 Step 5: Enter relevant details and click on 'ADD' 1. Trading Account is created 2. Select 'company' 3. Click on Add to Enter Stock Opening for tradng A/c created Step 6: You can select the accounting method you want to follow to maintain your books of accounts (Lifo, Fifo etc). 1. Select the Date on which the account is created 2. Select the calculation Method 3. Click on 29
30 Step 7: Select the Trading Account name for which you want to add the opening and click 'OK'. 1. Select 'Account name' 2. Enter 'Quantity' and 'Cost Price' 3. Click 'OK' Step 8: Trading Account is made and opening for the stock type is also added you can similarly create Trading Accounts and add opening for the stock types as required. 1. 33 Look-up List Master Step 1: Look up List helps user to predefine Stock Characteristics, Name, properties etc. Select 'Look-up list Master' Tab. Select the 'Section' (eg: Color Stone). Select 'Master' (eg: Color Stone Name) and click on 'Add '. ' 1. Select 'Look-up list Master' 2. Select 'Stock Type' 3. Select 'Properties' 4. Click Step 2: When you click on add a small pop up box will appear, enter 'Name' of the Stock (eg: Color Stone) and click on 'OK'. 1. Enter Stock Name 2. Click 'OK' 33

35 Next Reference Step 1: In Next Reference we specify the 'Prefix' and 'Next reference No'. For Transactions and Bill. Select 'Next Reference', 'Company' and click. 1. Select 'Next Reference' 2. 'Prefix' number is what initial your Bill / Transaction name should begin (eg: CSB for Cash Sale). 'Next reference No'. is the series of number that should follow after prefix (eg: Bill / Transaction number CSB 001). 1. Enter 'Name' 2. Enter 'Prefix' 3. Enter Next 'Reference No' 4.
