4 CONSULTANCY Given our long-standing experience in both domestic and international relocation and move management, we are well placed to consult with our clients on a whole range of mobility issues. We use our knowledge of best practices within an operational context. Programme Process & Cost Review Policy Design & Benchmarking Outsourced Assignment Programme Management We undertake a holistic review of a client s end-toend international assignment programme, domestic programme or move management programme and provide recommendations for process efficiencies and cost savings. We review and update existing relocation policies (domestic or international), providing essential benchmarking information or we are able to help a client design a relocation policy from scratch, should they not have one in place. We also provide ad hoc advice on individual provisions. We manage relocation administration for our clients on an outsourced basis. We work with our clients to understand what assignment functions they want to manage in-house and what they want to outsource in order to develop a tailored solution for assignment management. 4

5 CONSULTANCY SERVICES Vendor Management We manage a client s preferred third party relocation vendors on their behalf, providing advice on tendering proposals (RFI, RFP, ITT, etc), best practice and supplier costs. Relocation Technology We provide a range of facilities linked to the Internet to support both HR and employees during the relocation process. This includes bespoke branded company webzones and online tracking, reporting, forms and information sources. TEAM consultants create tailored relocation solutions, utilising a unique service-cycle which supports and delivers effective processes, cost savings and continuous improvement. 5

6 INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION TEAM provides a comprehensive range of relocation services for our clients, globally. The depth and flexibility of our service menu allows clients the ability to choose which services are required and tailor them to meet specific needs, without having to settle for off the peg solutions. Work Permits & Immigration Cost Projections Destination Orientation We offer worldwide advice and assistance in securing work permits and visas. We are able to manage the process and advise on the timing involved and in many locations, liaise with the relevant authorities on behalf of the employee and the company. We produce assignment cost projection spreadsheets for budgeting/accrual purposes. Cost calculations are tailored to reflect each client s assignment policy and can include only relocation costs or, working in conjunction with the client s preferred suppliers, all assignment-related costs. Our orientation programme has been designed to familiarise employees and their families with their new location, providing them with the opportunity to view a selection of properties, visit schools and learn about other local services. 6

7 INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION SERVICES Temporary Accommodation Furniture & Appliance Rental Home Search for Rental Working in partnership with temporary housing providers, we arrange temporary accommodation that is more comfortable than a standard hotel room and more cost-effective than an extended stay in a hotel. Whether it makes more sense to hire furniture (long or short term) rather than shipping, or simply to provide a stop gap before the shipment arrives, we source rental furniture and appliances at a competitive cost. We assist employees and their families to find housing in the destination location. They will be shown a selection of housing by a local knowledgeable counsellor who will evaluate the employee s needs, managing expectations in line with the client s policy and assist in securing appropriate housing. This service includes tenancy negotiations, the coordination of the inventory check-in/out and, if required, tenancy renewals. 7

8 INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION SERVICES Move Management Schools & Education Assistance Settling-in Support We provide an all inclusive global door to door service by sea, air and road, with fully itemised export packing, and specialist services (eg. pets, vehicles). To complement the moving services, TEAM provides a range of specialist storage services including its unique fire-safe programme. This is designed to assist parents make an informed decision about their children s educational needs. We make appointments with suitable schools, source prospectuses, can provide advice and guidance, and accompany on visits if required. These flexible programmes are designed to ensure the employee and their family are settled-in comfortably and able to integrate into their new community, with confidence. This can include advice on banking, leisure activities, transportation, community services etc. 8

9 INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION SERVICES Partner Support Cultural & Language Training Tenancy Management (Host Location) Career specialists can advise on the options available to assist additional study or support in finding a career in the host location, for the accompanying partner, where legally possible. Additionally, we can provide information and advice regarding volunteer work and local community activities. TEAM has created specialist cross-cultural briefings for all assignment stages: y pre-assignment - living and working in... y on- assignment - multicultural team building y ending assignment - coming home: Repatriation We also source specialist language training to meet the needs of assignees and their families. Our team of relocation professionals will serve as intermediaries between employees and their landlords in the host location, ensuring effective management of the tenancy, issue resolution and timely settlement of dilapidations on departure. We also have a wealth of experience in managing properties in Trust Lease Premium portfolios. 9

10 INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION SERVICES Property Management (Home Location) Departure Services Expense Management To provide peace of mind to the employee on assignment, we manage the vacated home throughout the period of assignment. This involves looking after the employee s interests when the property is let out and also during periods when it may lie vacant. We will assist in undertaking all property-related predeparture requirements, in order to minimise dilapidation charges and facilitate the swift return of the deposit. Managed by our specialist accounting team, we are able review and authorise expense claims, make expense reimbursements and pay invoices worldwide, on behalf of clients. We report on all costs to ensure clients are fully in control of the costs of relocation. We provide comprehensive expense management service which makes year-end tax reporting a streamlined process. 10
