An open software platform that allows to easily build and manage innovative Apps and services by providing: Enhanced OpenStack-based cloud hosting capabilities A rich library of Generic Enablers (GEs) that connect to the Internet of Things, process data and media in real-time at large scale, perform BigData analysis or incorporate advanced features to interaction with the user. FIWARE can help companies and organisations by easing their transition to innovative businesses and solutions by making complex processes simple, costeffective, high quality and secure. 1

22 Who can apply to INCENSe? Applicants must be European based SMEs or web entrepreneurs presenting services / applications, cleantech focused, which purpose an innovative use of FIWARE enablers for smarter processes or infrastructures (more intelligent, more efficient, more sustainable) through a tight integration with internet networking and computer capabilities. General requirements To be a SMEs, WE or other small and innovative ICT players or a Natural person. To fall into some of the Categories defined in the Competition Guide To use any of the FIWARE enablers ( To be without any material proceeding or insolvency status pending. 21
