It refers to changes in the ways software developers and end-users use the Web.

The web site should be designed with a balance of text and graphics + Advanced and state of the art interactive features with back office management systems + Portal to be built on an advanced content management system + Other content automation features: workflows, approval cycles, delegated administration, etc.
