3 The inaugural Regional Queensland Lifestyle Expo (RQL) produced by Trade Show Organisers and Inflight Publishing will be held at King George Square, the heart of Brisbane City July, The concept of the Regional Queensland Lifestyle Expo is to bring the country assets to the city - for the residents of South East Queensland to view the options; the tourist attractions and available lifestyle in Regional Queensland. 7 FOOD STALLS/ BBQ ON KING GEORGE SQUARE If Food Stalls or BBQ / Catering activities are held on an infrequent basis, the organisers must obtain the relevant licences. In addition they must comply with the following requirements: - Food is to be protected at all times from direct sunlight - The stall is to have a roof and three sides covered with durable plastic sheeting, vinyl or other approved material. It must be sturdy and have a minimum ceiling height of 2 metres - The floor should be of smooth impervious material under service area / stall - The stall should be positioned with its side facing away from the prevailing breeze - All liquid wastes are to be stored in a container with a lid and marked Water Waste Only. The container should be emptied into a sanitary sewer not the stormwater system - Additional rubbish bins must be supplied for food waste - Condiments and sauces should be in squeeze bottles or individual squeeze packs - Tea, coffee, cordial and other beverages are to be served from enclosed containers with a tap or spout or vessels, which have a lid - Milk/dairy products must be stored in appropriately refrigerated containers - Tongs, spoons, spatulas must be provided to minimise the unnecessary handling of food - Reusable eating materials should not be provided. Council encourages the use of sustainable materials (i.e. bio degradable cups and plates) - Stalls must not be positioned in an area where the public may be injured if long queues form (e.g. near stairs) - Food handlers are required to wear suitable hair covering nets and long hair must be tied back and covered. Disposable food preparation gloves must also be used at all times, as per Health Department regulations.

Advertising on the website is available to Exhibitors only. 9 BEST EXHIBITOR STAND AWARDS BEST STAND OVERALL The winner of this award will be judged by three independent judges and points will be awarded for presentation, staff, product display, product in action, new product, packaging and presentation. The award will consist of a trophy suitable for display in the company office. BEST STAND 3M SHELL SCHEME (SMALL) The winner of this award will come from all the smaller exhibits ONLY and will be judged on presentation, product display and value to the visitors and the exhibitors. The award will consist of a trophy suitable for display in the company office. BEST STAND PRODUCT IN ACTION The winner of this award will receive the bulk of their points for product in action on display. The award will consist of a trophy suitable for display in the company office. The award winners will be presented with their awards at their stand during the Expo - and announced over the public address system.

11 TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. The organisers, and its designated servants or agents, reserve the right to alter or add to these Rules and Regulations as may be necessary for compliance with any laws or with any directions given by the Owner/Lessor of the Exhibition Site, and generally for the efficient running of the Exhibition. The Exhibitor includes all employees and/or Agents of any company, partnership or individual exhibiting and the term Exhibition shall mean Regional Queensland Lifestyle Expo. 2. The Exhibitor agrees to comply with all directions and legal requirements of all Government bodies and with these Rules and Regulations during the currency of the Exhibition. 3. Allotment of space to an Exhibitor, which will then constitute a licensee to exhibit and not a tenancy, will follow acceptance of an Exhibitor s application. The Organisers reserve the right at any time to alter the site, shape or position of the floor plans as may be necessary for the best interests of the Exhibition. A cost adjustment will be made to any Exhibitor in the event of reduction of their display space. 4. Exhibits must fall within the scope of the exhibition. No other exhibit or products (including demonstration machinery) are to be displayed without prior written consent of the Organisers. 5. Payment Terms are agreed as follows: 20% of the total rental at the time of booking Final 80% paid 4 weeks prior to the Trade Show commencement. 6. Withdrawals: If Organisers agree to release the Exhibitor from their obligations under Agreement in exceptional circumstances, then in that event the Exhibitor will be liable to pay 50% of all monies due under the Agreement. This special proviso will lapse if less than eight weeks remain before the opening of the Exhibition, whereupon all monies due from the Exhibitor to the Organisers shall become payable forthwith upon demand. 7. To contractual price (unless otherwise stated by the Organisers) does not include the following: - Connections for electricity, water, gas, waste, compressed air, etc. - Loading and handling equipment and staff - Stamp duty levied on this Agreement - Advertising Catalogue or Handbill - Telephones - Insurance - Dressing of stand - Cleaning of exhibits. 8. The design of all stand and exhibits and their weight in character is subject to the prior approval of the Organisers Their construction, erection and dismantling shall be carried out under the supervision of and subject to conditions laid down by the Organisers. Any stand considered not to be in the best interests of the Exhibition may be removed or altered by the Organisers at the expense of the Exhibitor. 9. All plant, machinery and exhibits must comply with statutory requirements as to safety and particularly in the case of the storage of petrol, explosives, and other flammable materials. No article of a dangerous character shall be taken into the Exhibition except with the Organiser s prior written approval. 10. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse any person admission to the Exhibition without assigning any reason. 11. The Exhibitor is at all times during the exhibition: a. Required to keep their stand open to view and properly staffed by competent representatives. b. Responsible for the maintenance of their stand and display space in a clean and tidy condition. c. Required to conduct any business only from their display space and to keep passageways in front of their display space free from obstruction. d. Prohibited from disposing of or parting with stock on display for cash payment (including food, drink, tobacco or promotional aids), unless prior written consent is obtained from the Organisers. e. Prohibited from holding or allowing to be held at auction, lottery, game of chance or sideshow. f. Prohibited from sublicensing, sharing or parting with possession of their display space. g. Prohibited from engaging outside contractors or himself employing persons not being financial members of the appropriate union for the purpose of any construction or demolition on the Exhibitor s stand or Exhibition site. h. Prohibited from operating any type of machinery or equipment at a sound level, which, in the Organisers sole opinion because of its loudness, is likely to cause nuisance or annoyance in neighbouring Exhibitors or visitors. i. Prohibited from doing anything which, in the opinion of the Organiser, may bring discredit upon the Exhibition. 12. The Exhibitor undertakes to have their display space ready, with all exhibits available for display and completed by the time specified by the Organisers preceeding the opening of the exhibition. Should the balance of costs due to the Organisers not have been paid, the Exhibitor will not be permitted to occupy their stand, and will forfeit to the Organisers all their rights under this Agreement and the Organisers shall be entitled to take possession and use the space for their own purposes and may allot their space to another Exhibitor. 13. (a) Third Party Claims (Public Liability) The Exhibitor is responsible for all personal injury or damage to property arising in connection with the Exhibitor s display area howsoever caused directly or indirectly by them or any contractor, sub-contractor, servant or any agent, licensee or invitee of theirs or any act of omission of any such person or by any exhibit, machinery or other article or thing of theirs in the possession of or use of theirs or any servant or any agent, or theirs or (if erected by the Exhibitor or contractor by his or his workmen or agents) by the stand-fitting contractor. The Exhibitor will indemnify the Organisers in respect of each and every such claim and all actions, proceedings, costs, claims, and demands in respect thereof. The Exhibitor must take out adequate insurance in respect to all such claims and produce the premium receipts on demand. (b) Responsibility for the Personal Injury or Damage to Property (employers Liability). The Organisers shall be under no liability for personal injury to the Exhibitor or their servants or agents, invitees or licensee howsoever caused nor for the loss of or damage to exhibits or other property of the Exhibitor, their servants, agents, invitees, or licensees howsoever caused. The Exhibitor is accordingly advised to take out all necessary insurances. 14. Handbills, advertisements and printed matter are subject to the approval of the Organisers, who also reserve all photographic rights to the Exhibition. 15. If the holding of the exhibition or the supply of any services by the Organisers is prevented, postponed or abandoned by reasons of fire, storm, lightning, national emergency, labour dispute, strike, lockout, civil disturbance, explosion, inevitable accident, or any cause not within the control of the Organisers whether of the same sort or not, or the Exhibition site becomes wholly or partially unavailable for the holding of the Exhibition, the Organisers shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for any expenditure or liability or loss including consequential loss incurred by the Exhibitor. 16. Following acceptance by the Organisers of the Exhibitor s application for display space, should the Exhibitor be then unable or unwilling to perform their part of the agreement, or fail to comply with these Rules and Regulations, or otherwise breach the Agreement, the Organisers may retain the deposit paid as liquidated damages and reimbursement of management costs and other fees and expenses incurred by the Organisers. The Exhibitor shall thereafter be prohibited from occupying their display space and stand and shall immediately remove the exhibits from the Exhibition site in accordance with the Organiser s directions. Alternatively the Organisers may do so at the Exhibitor s cost and dispatch such exhibits to the address stated in the Exhibitor s Order Form. 17. All exhibits are subject to a general lien in favour of the Organisers for sums, whether unpaid costs of space or otherwise, due from the Exhibitor to the Organisers. 18. The Exhibition Information Manual sent to all Exhibitors well in advance of the Exhibition dates shall be as binding on the Exhibitor as if its provisions were contained in these contractual details insofar as they may-be applicable. 19. Verbal agreements shall be valid only after written confirmation.
