LOCATIONS EUREKA Financial News & Views from your Community Bank Customer Appreciation Day We had a fantastic turnout at our annual Customer Appreciation Day events on June 13 at all of the branches. The staff worked hard to make this tradition a memorable celebration and the weather was perfect. Thanks to everyone who made a contribution and joined us for this special day! 219 Thresher Dr. Eureka, MO (636) FENTON 1037 Majestic Fenton, MO (636) HIGH RIDGE 23 Gravois Dillon Plaza High Ridge, MO (636) WILDWOOD 2620 Hwy 109 Wildwood, MO SAVE THE DATE The Eureka Days Parade will be on September 6, (636)
2 Page 2 EUREKA Eureka Customer Appreciation Day We had beautiful weather and a great time with the customers who joined us for the 24th Customer Appreciation Day in Eureka. Highlights included the games for the kids and the hot dog eating contest (the winner was Jeff Hof). Thanks to USA Martial Arts, Red Bone Carnival Games and Supplies, Keith Bruns from Subway and the police and fire departments for their participation. Fenton Customer Appreciation Day Many of our loyal customers, friends, family and the community helped make Rockwood Bank Fenton s Annual Customer Appreciation Day one of the best!
4 Page 4 HIGH RIDGE High Ridge Customer Appreciation Day Boy, does Rockwood Bank High Ridge know how to throw a party! At their Customer Appreciation Day, held on Friday, June 13, the customers enjoyed delicious BBQ, root beer floats, snow cones and popcorn while dancing to music played by DJ Russ Hilton. It was a beautiful day in which the helicopter man, Frank Spavale, flew customers high above all the fun activities. Those customers who preferred to stick a little closer to the ground were able to enjoy mini car rides provided by Ken Eberhardt. We would like to congratulate Mike Salters on his recent graduation from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Over 15,000 executives (including three other alumni from Rockwood Bank) have successfully completed the program which is held each Spring on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, LA. The school's purpose is to fill the need for graduate level study by bank officers leading toward a broader knowledge and understanding of major banking functions. Completion of the program has become a requisite to professional advancement at many banks who find that the curriculum addresses their educational needs. Mike started with Rockwood Bank in 1999 and celebrated his 15th year in March 2014 at our High Ridge location. The High Ridge Fire Department, Northwest County Ambulance District, Jefferson County Sheriffs Department, Memories Car Club, Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic, H & R Block, Kelly McGinnis of Edward Jones, Clarkson Eyecare, Realty Executives Premiere and not to forget Louis Wehrmeyer with his Army vehicle were on hand to greet customers and award prizes. Rockwood Bank would like to say THANK YOU to the business customers who donated gift certificates and products such as Randy s Fireworks, Dairy Queen, Rikki s Hair Care, Marty s Bistro, Sassy Shears, Anthem College, Company B BBQ, High Ridge Auto Repair, and so many others for your added participation. Once again, THANK YOU Rockwood Bank customers! We appreciate you banking with us and we hope to see you next year. Great Customers and Good Times!
5 Page 5 WILDWOOD We would like to say Thank You to all our customers who came out on such a beautiful Friday the 13th, which was not an unlucky day at all! Wildwood Customer Appreciation Day We began our annual appreciation party at 11:00 am on June 13 with hot dogs with all the extras, including chili, relishes, cheese, onions, served with soda and chips. And for a special treat we had snow cones by Kona. Always a favorite! The day saw awesome presentations by Eureka Police Departments display of their Police Hummer vehicle, which everyone enjoyed seeing and hearing about, especially the children who all climbed onboard! Officer Michael Werges was here with a detailed presentation of how Eureka and the surrounding area can use their Police Dog Reno. Officer Werges planted drugs in the Police Hummer which Reno found very quickly! We highly encourage everyone to support our Eureka Police Department and these special units. Thank you Officer Mike Wiegand and staff for sharing your plans and goals with us! The day not only was filled with food, but lots of fun for young and older alike. We had cupcake walks with customers winning delicious cupcakes baked by our employees and Martha Bunch. Also, we played with frisbees, held hula hoop contests, and everyone s favorite Bingo! All the children enjoyed the game station by Red Bone Products of Pacific, always a hit with pig races, rope pulls, and knock down the cans! Lane Alpert of our mortgage division spurred the kids on in the winning spirit, while his wife, Karin, was inside giving face and arm paintings! And to top off the day, we were fortunate to get Jim Rensing, of Dog Werks. He gave our customers an outstanding presentation of training his dog to attack. When fully trained, this dog will no doubt be in the St. Louis area protecting our streets. We had prizes galore with hourly drawings and ballot boxes for prizes on display in lobby. Congrats to all the winners of Rockwood Bank prizes and those donated by the Wildwood Historical Society, Fantastic Sam s of Wildwood, Baxter Gardens, Lion s Choice, and TH Nails & Spa.
