July 2005 to June Student Project Ken Henry and Mary Ellen Pereira established a program entitled The Student Preaching Points Project. In coordination with Garth Blake (Director of Church Relations) and The Disciples of Christ, this fledgling program involved sending student preachers out to congregations desiring student preachers in the pulpit.
