Please photocopy this application form if necessary. A copy of the stamp exhibits should be attached when submitting the finished stamp exhibits.

3 VI. Details of Competition 1. Regulations The Competition is open to students of all primary and secondary schools, and full-time students of tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. Entries should be submitted through the respective schools. (Students of tertiary institutions can submit entries through their philatelic club or Student Affairs Office.) The Competition is divided into three categories based on the school levels below. Details of the maximum number of frames in each entry for the three categories are as follows: Category A: Primary 6 or below (1-3 frames) Category B: Secondary 1 to Secondary 3 (1-5 frames) Category C: Secondary 4 or above (1-5 frames) The maximum number of participants for each entry is 4. For each frame submitted, it should have a capacity of 16 (4 x 4) standard size album pages, with size 23cm x 29cm as specified. Hongkong Post will sponsor each entry 1 pack of stamp mounts and 20 pieces of standard size album pages for each frame. Participants should organise their stamps on a thematic basis and send their entries together with narratives about their collections. Students must not submit exhibits with the same topic that he/she has submitted before and rewarded with prize in the previous Inter-School Stamp Exhibits Competitions organised by Hongkong Post. Otherwise, the submitted entry will be disqualified. Hongkong Post may use the exhibits for publicity and promotion purpose without prior notice to the participants. Hongkong Post reserves the right to interpret and make changes to the regulations of the competition and all other provisions and conditions set out in the application form. The personal data collected may be only used for the Competition, resolution of any dispute arising in connection with the Competition and any other purpose connected with the Competition. Participants have the right of access and correction with respect to their personal data. Such is stipulated in Sections 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The right of access includes the right to obtain a copy of participants personal data provided on the application form. 2. Judging Criteria The Judging Panel will comprise representatives from Hongkong Post, the Education Bureau and local philatelic clubs. Entries will be judged upon the selection of theme, organisation and aesthetic presentation of stamps, as well as the relevance of the narratives. Participants are to be abided by the decisions of the Judging Panel, which shall be final.

4 3. Awards & Prizes A Champion, a 1 st Runner-up, a 2 nd Runner-up and 10 Merit Awardees will be chosen from each category. The awardees and their schools will receive the following prizes: Individual Awards: Prizes Champion : One trophy, One Serviced First Day Cover and HK$3,000 1 st Runner-up : One trophy, One Serviced First Day Cover and HK$2,000 2 nd Runner-up : One trophy, One Serviced First Day Cover and HK$1,000 Merit Awards : One certificate, One Serviced First Day Cover and (10 prizes) HK$100 for each winning entry To encourage active participation, each participating student will receive a presentation pack of the special stamp issue and a certificate as a token. School Awards: Prizes Champion : One trophy and One 2015 Prestige Annual Stamp Album 1 st Runner-up : One trophy and One 2015 Prestige Annual Stamp Album 2 nd Runner-up : One trophy and One 2015 Prestige Annual Stamp Album Merit Awards : One 2015 Annual Stamp Pack for each winning entry (10 prizes) The Most Supporting School Awards: For each category, the school with the largest number of exhibits submitted will be awarded one certificate, one 2015 Prestige Annual Stamp Album (Ordinary Version) and one 2015 Annual Stamp Pack. If more than one school have submitted the same largest number of entries, the winner will be the one with the largest number of frames.

5 4. Announcement The results will be uploaded on the Hongkong Post Stamps website ( in June All winners will be notified by post individually. 5. Award Presentation cum Exhibition Opening Ceremony An award presentation cum exhibition opening ceremony will be held in July Exhibition of the entries will also be held at the venue. Winners, their respective schools and parents would be invited to attend the ceremony. 6.
