Introduction Since its establishment in 1960, the Association has the mission to nurture human capital through management education and training at all levels for developing talents for Hong Kong. As such, the Association has developed the Talent Development Fund for executives in financial needs to fulfil their aspiration in pursuing knowledge and upgrading qualifications. Fund will be awarded to non-degree holders whose monthly income are $20,000 or below to study selected diploma and degree programmes. The recipients will receive either $10,000 or $20,000 to assist them in their study of diploma and degree programmes respectively. B. Eligibility All applicants should satisfy the following criteria **: - Hong Kong residents - Non-degree holders - Monthly salary of HK$20,000 or below *** - At least 2 years work experience ** Applicants should also satisfy the admission criteria of the respective programme of their choice. *** Applicants must submit income or salary proof. The Secretariat reserves the right to disqualify applications who do not submit relevant supporting documents. D. Criteria All applicants are required to submit a write-up, either in English or Chinese, of at least 300 words on the following topic: - Your Future Plan for Career Advancement and Continuing Education E. Applicants should provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about themselves in the registration form. If any information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, the Association has the right to suspend or terminate the fund. 2. Fund is not transferable, negotiable, and redeemable for cash or other substitutions. 3. Students are not allowed to apply fund for programmes which are currently enrolled, otherwise, the Association has the right to disqualify the recipients. 4. Fund do not cover retake, remedial, appeal and retention fees. 5. Fund will be granted to recipients by two to four instalments. Details will be informed to successful applicants accordingly. 6. Recipients are not allowed to change the chosen programme once they have submitted their registration form unless they are advised to change by the Association. 7. In case of cancellation of programme, recipients are only allowed to take another programme of equivalent cost or below. 8. Recipients must attend the presentation ceremony to be held in April 2016 (date to be confirmed) in order to be eligible for the Fund. 9. The Association reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of offers. In case of disputes regarding this fund, final decision shall be entirely at the discretion of The Hong Kong Management Association. 10. Fund cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount offered by the HKMA. 11. Recipients will not be eligible to apply for the Continuing Education Fund (CEF) for the above programmes.
