I understand that when I enroll in courses, I am committing myself to a more rigorous curriculum that requires additional time and effort. A recommended prerequisite of entering Pre-AP, AP, DE, or TAG level courses in KISD is grade of 85 or better in the previous course work. I also understand that if I fail all or part of this course or receive an NG, I will not be allowed to retake the class at the Pre-AP, AP, Dual Enrollment, or TAG level. If I need this credit I will be required to retake it as a regular class. I understand that if I earn a failing grade in a Pre-AP, AP, DE, or TAG class at the semester grading period, I may be placed in a lower level course for the following semester.
