Funded Internal Teaching Grants and Contracts: Proposal Title: Comprehensive College Initiative: HIM Computer Lab Replacement Spring 2014 This proposal was funded in Spring 2014 to replace all of the existing computers in the HIM special purpose computer lab. The outcome of this replacement was standardization of the computer models being used in the lab and the ability to maximize special use software (Virtual Lab) as it continues to be made available for course support. "Improving Computer Access and Applications for HIM Students". I was the third author on this technology proposal which was funded by the Academic Computing Committee in April This funding allowed the HIM Program to purchase three IBM/PC computers, a 10 user license for Pervasive SQL, and four different HIM software applications from Softmed/HIS. Other: (2007) In collaboration with Desla Mancilla (lead faculty), we received a Grant for Instructional Technology from the Office of Instructional Technologies Support, Texas State University-San Marcos.
