4 Miles & More Card and PIN 4 Miles & More PIN: With your Miles & More card, you will also receive a PIN (Personal Identification Number), which you will need to check your account, book awards or use our online services. You can change your PIN online, or request a new one. We recommend that you keep your PIN separate from your Miles & More card and not share your PIN with anyone. Earn miles: Just present your card or enter the Miles & More service card number the miles earned will be automatically credited. You can check your current mileage balance online anytime. 6 Award and status miles 6 Award miles are miles that you can redeem for flight awards, upgrade awards, and many more (see page 10). You can earn miles on scheduled flights operated by a Star Alliance or Miles & More airline partner, with hotel and car rental partners as well as with many other associat ed companies. 7 Status miles determine whether you achieve Frequent Traveller or Senator status. You earn status miles on scheduled flights operated by selected Miles & More airline partners (see table). Status miles are only valid in the calendar year in which they are earned. HON Circle miles are status miles that are earned over two consecutive calendar years on scheduled flights operated by selected airline partners (see table). Only these miles count towards achieving HON Circle Member status. 7

8 Miles & More Status membership 8 More advantages for frequent flyers: The more status miles you earn the more benefits you can enjoy. There are three levels of Miles & More frequent flyer status, each of which is valid for a minimum of two years.
