3 EDITORIAL The ESCP Europe Foundation took on a new dimension in 2012 with a status as registered charity enabling it to develop its activities. Today, with an enlarged team of five staff, the Foundation aims to increase drastically its support of ESCP Europe. This commitment has been demonstrated by the results of the year The amount raised is over 2.1 million, bringing total donations since 2005 to 12 million. The Foundation was able to provide almost 1.9 million for the development of the school in 2014 compared to 1.5 million in 2013: a remarkable increase of 21% from the previous year. We thank our donors for their loyalty and generosity as well as our corporate sponsors. These achievements are indeed significant, but the School s development prospects require us to further our efforts so as to widen its influence and support its evolution. Indeed, in a context of increased competition between business schools worldwide, ESCP Europe must invest heavily to highlight its uniqueness as the only European Management School and one of the best business schools in the world. In 2015, ESCP Europe has launched new strategies: on 3 campuses. No doubt you will appreciate that our School cannot undertake such projects without the cooperation and help of the wider ESCP Europe community: its network of 45,000 alumni, their families, businesses and the professors. Thus, our School, its Foundation and its Alumni Association form the 3 pillars of ESCP Europe; 3 complementary pillars working together to build excellence today and tomorrow will mark the bicentenary of ESCP Europe. History makes us the oldest business school in the world. We will celebrate this anniversary with pride and ambition. Let us show that we are the very best school and let us ensure it has the financial means necessary. This will be achievable thanks to your commitment and your generosity. We are counting on your support! Patrick Gounelle President, ESCP Europe Foundation Frank Bournois Dean, ESCP Europe Arnaud Nourry President, ESCP Europe Alumni Association A N N U A L R E P O R T

It is an important expression of the ESCP Europe Community s cohesion. Coming from Armenia, I joined ESCP Europe on the Master in Marketing & Creativity. Unfortunately, my first months in France turned out to be a lot more difficult than I had expected. In effect, I had to face serious health problems. Far from home and my family, I asked the ESCP Europe and the Foundation s team for support. They gave me the moral and financial help that I needed. It was vital to my recovery. Today I have finished my treatment and I am being constantly monitored. I have been able to get my life back and will resume my studies this fall. I would like to thank sincerely the whole ESCP Europe team who supported me during this hardship. VARUZHAN SAHAKYAN Student at ESCP Europe Master in Marketing and Creativity A N N U A L R E P O R T
