2 MIP Politecnico di Milano and Audencia School of Management have joined forces to offer a European double degree, the only one of its kind in the world. Master in Supply Chain and Purchasing Management GS1 is an international not-for-profit association with Member Organisations in over 100 countries. GS1 Italy Indicod-Ecr, the Italian association that includes 35 thousand FMCG manufacturers and retailers, focuses its work on disseminating the standards adopted on a global level, developing new ideas and projects by calling the attention of the public opinion to key issues in order to stimulate beneficial dialogue between companies. Indicod-Ecr has been working with FMCG companies since 1978 and offers systems of common standards and services that create value and enhance efficiency, to help the modernisation of companies network of every size and in every industry. 6 In the words of our Alumni Eric Aicardi Italy Since I finished my Bachelor degree in economics and management I wanted to continue my studies in the field of supply chain and purchasing management, and I truly believe that the choice of the MSCPM is the wisest I could have made. Not only the master has given me valuable insights on the subjects of supply chain and purchasing management but it has also contributed to my personal growth as a future professional and as a person. The multicultural environment, the right mix between theoretical and practical teaching, and the chance to live in both France and Italy, are only some of the reasons why I will never regret my choice. Industry insights were also very well provided by the sectoral approaches course. Moreover, the great variety of professional and life experiences between professors, students and practitioners was definitely a great value added. Finally, it was also the opportunity for me to discover Milan, which is a very dynamic and inspiring city to live in. I m currently working for a multinational FMCG company (Reckitt Benckiser) as Demand Planner, where I m applying on a daily basis the frameworks I ve learned during the program; and I m sure this will help me to further my career. 6
