4 SE4ALL Provide UNIVERSAL ACCESS to modern energy Approximately 34 million people in the LAC region live without access to electricity and nearly 85 million live without regular access to clean modern cooking fuels. 9 SE4ALL Doubling the energy efpiciency ratio. EE 67% As LAC economies expand fast into the 21st century, the region will continue to increase in energy demand. In this scenario energy efwiciency measures will save large amounts of funds with huge positive impacts.

Environmental Climate Change: programma@c CDM and NAMAs (CIDA) Technical Assistance on Mi@ga@on and Adapta@on to Climate Change in the energy sector (CIDA); Watershed Vulnerability in Central America (IDB). 3. Energy Efficiency: Energy Efficiency Program for LAC PALCEE- (ADA) In addi@on, there are several annual events (Biofuels, Electricity and Energy Efficiency) and training courses (CAPEV Program).
