1 Research EDAI research activities are focused on defining new components and system concepts to contribute to sustainable development in society. Our activities are directed for axle environments, including the optimization of system components, as described below, or the defining of new concepts to add new functions or improve the existing ones, taking in account the axle as a whole system. 1. Suspension 2. Tubular stabilizer bar 3. Toe control link 4. Control camber angle 5. Stabilizer link 2 3 Development EDAI development activities are focused on the reduction of the time necessary to launch products into the market, with additional functions, lower costs, less impact on the environment, a higher share of added value and better product performance, creating more flexible production lines. 4 5 Innovation EDAI innovation activities are focused on the application of already-developed technologies into new automotive systems. Currently, EDAI is working within the AIC (Automotive Intelligence Center) to develop new concepts for electric vehicles: Rear axle: reduction of turning radius, including rear steer conversion. Front axle: active roll bar, camber angle control, etc. 09

Technology Capabilities Pressing, stamping, bending, warping Our know-how: your best choice At INAUXA we make a great effort to implement the most advanced technology in order to be able to offer the best quality product at the most competitive price. Machining, drilling Ball studs and housing in mechanical lathes (6-8 axles) Welding (Robots) Pressing, stamping, bending, warping Deforming the material and changing the shape of the metal by applying an external load to an axis of the element and a variety of sheet-metal forming manufacturing processes. Welding Welding (Robots) Customized automated MIG/MAG installations with turntables in external axes. Electric resistance welding (ERW) Cataphoresis Metallic parts are welded when electric current goes through them, generating resistance. Ultrasonic welding High-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are locally applied to work pieces being held together under pressure to create a solid-state weld. Cataphoresis Heat treatments Transfer line with KTL, degreasing baths and drying oven to improve the corrosion properties of metal surfaces. Heat treatments Involves high temperatures in the process of modifying the properties of the metal. Heat treatment by joule effect and tempering in an optimized mixed liquid. 16

Shot peening Assembly Shot peening The process used to produce a compressive residual stress layer and modify mechanical properties of metals. It entails impacting a surface with shot (round metallic, glass or ceramic particles) with force sufficient to create plastic deformation. Laser cutting for tubes Assembly Customized assembly lines with an automatic and manual feeding of components, including automatic testing devices, to guarantee a quality product in a very low cycle time. Laser cutting for tubes Flexible laser machine to trim or produce holes in tubes. Plastic Injection Plastic Injection Several plastic-injection machines with humidity/dehumidity and pre-heating devices to automatically feed different kinds of polymers directly from the raw-material supplier container. 17

Customers and partners In servicing the automotive industry over many years, Inauxa has developed world-class expertise and quality standards, recognized by our important OEM and Tier 1 customer base. Through our constant effort in accepting and adapting to new challenges such as state-of-the-art technology, global footprint and competitiveness, our customer's expectations are achieved. This is why many customers rely on and include Inauxa in their top supplier's lists. Customers 18
