3 Articulated arm measuring MACHINE ARM 2 3 D MEASURING MACHINE DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED BY FRATELLI ROTONDI FARO THAT IN METROLOGY FIELD HAS AN EXPERIENCE OF MORE OF HALF CENTURY High technology and high performance in a small space Additional axes application Measuring machine with high flexibility and without limits to get measurements of difficult to -reach elements where it is hard or not possible with the traditional equipment; very good versatility and easy to use Portable machine and easily transportable with the possibility to be located near the workpiece Its configuration allows large measuring range and very easy use in different production field (dies, casting, welded parts, automotive bodies, crash-test, frames, assemblies, models, prototypes etc.) The measuring range can be increased by two additional linear axes motorised, with operator console in the head of the machine. The system with the additional axes is easily movable with wheels- The system allows the autoallignement of the work piece ; it can be in any position of the work range. You can have several co-ordinate systems so it is possible to increase the work range always with the same first reference, avoiding leapfrog errors. The use of a large range of standard, special and custom probes applicable to the head makes the machine universal and without limits. The standard, special and custom probes are recalled in a large library, that stores the features and the calibrations, so those are immediately ready to use without redefinition
