Regional Marketing Manager Full-time, Fixed-term 1 year contract - ADELAIDE CBD Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, English language training and settlement services, creative media education, workforce education and student recruitment The South Australian Institute of Business Technology (SAIBT) is a progressive higher education provider which provides pathway programs into the second year of a University of South Australia degree and is part of the Navitas group of companies. In addition to the pathway programs, SAIBT offers English language programs via CELUSA (Centre for English Language at the University of South Australia) and is the largest IELTS testing centre in South Australia. SAIBT courses cater for a wide range of international and domestic students. SAIBT is currently seeking to fill the position of Regional Marketing Manager, a role managing a portfolio of markets under the supervision of the Director, Marketing and Admissions. The Regional Marketing Manager is required to develop and implement a range of recruitment and conversion strategies to grow enrolments and promote the Navitas brand, SAIBT and academic and English language pathways to the University of South Australia. This position currently manages recruitment activities in China, Vietnam and a number of other North and South East Asian countries. This exciting role requires strong relationship development and management skills across a range of stakeholders in addition to hands-on marketing and sales experience with demonstrable capacity to deliver agreed recruitment targets within allocated budget. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Australian tertiary student market, including a capacity to market SAIBT to prospective Australian and international students and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and take an innovative approach to problems. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently or within a team environment. High level communication and interpersonal skills. Proven oral and written language skills and the ability to develop effective presentations and produce high quality written documents, promotional materials and reports. Experience of social media marketing, including creating digital campaigns and marketing through social media. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing. Possess strong Social Customer Service techniques and a proven ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues. Proven ability to work with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and lead management systems. Able and willing to travel interstate when and where required to fulfil the objectives of the role. Selection Criteria - Desirable Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills. Experience working in a cross cultural environment and with people from a non-english speaking background.

POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: REPORTS TO: APPOINTMENT: Regional Marketing Manager Director of Marketing & Admissions Full-time, Fixed-term 1 year contract SALARY RANGE: HEO 6 LOCATION: University of South Australia City East Campus ROLE PURPOSE Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Admissions, the Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing and recruitment of students from the Australian Domestic region for the South Australian Institute of Business and Technology (SAIBT). SAIBT is a member of Navitas A Global Education Provider. The Regional Marketing Manager is also responsible for managing SAIBT s Social Media marketing channels and the general domestic and international enquiry management. The role will particularly focus on developing key relationships with the University of South Australia (UniSA), Navitas Group Marketing, and the targeted recruitment of students in the region of responsibility. KEY RELATIONSHIPS Director of Marketing & Admissions Marketing and Admissions teams in SAIBT UniSA Domestic Office and Divisional staff involved in student recruitment SAIBT staff and students External advertising and media agencies Staff in Navitas Group Marketing and Source Country Offices KEY RESULT AREAS (Outcomes) 1. Sales, Marketing and Student Recruitment Student recruitment activities are effective and recruitment targets are met. Indicative outcomes include: Marketing and sales of SAIBT s products and services, based on market strategies and opportunities, is profitable and based on defensible market research. SAIBT s strategic plan is implemented through effective sales, promotion and advertising. Product and business development is supported by analysis of market trends, sales reports and forecasts. Student recruitment plans are developed, based on monitoring of strategic marketing and sales activities and in collaboration with other staff and the Director of Marketing & Admissions. Targeted marketing and conversion campaigns are developed, implemented, reviewed and measured. Effectively manage budgets across the designated recruitment market. 2. Management of channel distributions and relationships Key stakeholders are supported and relationships are well managed.

Indicative outcomes include: Successful relationships are developed and maintained with key recruitment stakeholders, including, but not restricted to: Local High School Academic Counsellors, Navitas Source Country Office staff; government agencies; UniSA staff; SAIBT staff; and other relevant Navitas marketing staff. Effective information sessions and high quality activities for relevant business partners/clients are carried out. The Director, Marketing & Admissions is kept informed of market trends through regular reports and metrics. Effective use of the Navitas Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track the sales pipeline and to consolidate all student and business partners interactions. Manage the onshore SAIBT Student Mentorship Program for Australian Domestic and International regions. 3. Social Media Marketing Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities for prospective students. Indicative outcomes include: Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written) for the SAIBT Social Media channels. Become an advocate for SAIBT in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Develop and expand SAIBT s Social Media community through integrated outreach efforts on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Blog. Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns. Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns. Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results. Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. 4. Student Enquiry Management To act as the first point of contact for all new enquiries received via telephone / email / website, open days / walk-ins. Indicative outcomes include: Manage enquiry pipeline receive, log and promptly follow-up on all outstanding enquiries. Qualify enquiry and allocate to appropriate Regional Marketing Manager based on student profile and individual. Provide high quality client service and ensure a strong client focus is maintained. Build positive relationships with prospective students. Proactive and innovative engagement to improve customer experience management to prospective students. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES As well as efficiently, effectively and equitably achieving the key outcomes listed above, the incumbent is expected to: Work safely, in accord with the OHSW policy and procedures.
