'K' Street Oxnard, CA 93030 Visitors are always welcome, and suggestions and comments are encouraged. If members of the public would like to speak about an item on the agenda, a Speaker Card should be completed giving the number of the agenda item, or if wishing to speak to an item not on the agenda, stating the topic on which they wish to speak. The Card should be presented to the Secretary to the Board prior to the start of the meeting or prior to the start of the Public Comments section of the agenda. Individual speakers will be allowed three minutes to address the Board. In accordance with Education Code 35145.5, the Board cannot enter into a formal discussion or make a decision on any matter not on the agenda. The Board may take action to refer any subject discussed to a later meeting or to the Superintendent. The Board requests that all pagers and cell phones be turned off or placed on silent mode as a courtesy to those in the audience. In accordance with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and related federal regulations, individuals who require special accommodation, including but not limited to an American Sign Language interpreter, accessible seating or documentation in accessible formats, should contact the Superintendent's office at least three days before the meeting date. This will enable the District to make reasonable arrangement to ensure accessibility to the Board meeting and to provide any required accommodations, auxiliary aids or services.
