For example, Employee A will be promoted as Senior Manager with salary increment on 23rd next month. He will be entitled for housing allowance in his new role. You may create a new Career Progression today, set the effective date as 23rd next month. During the end of next month, when the system processes payroll, it will automatically pro-rate Employee A s monthly salary for the first 23 days of the month based on previous salary, and also pay the housing allowance accordingly for that month. You can also set a combine limit for different items, such as maximum claim for fuels is RM500 and toll is RM300, but combined both item, the maximum claim is limited at RM700, et cetera.
