Online one stop shopping! Connected with Van Dillewijn Group The shortening of the supply chain is a phenomenon that has affected companies around the world in recent years. Although many businesses are extremely wary of this development, it is a rich source of opportunity. The Van Dillewijn Group has many years experience of connecting different online stores, with the result that, almost invariably, we can offer plug and play solutions, enabling you to start selling via your online store in no time at all. Van Dillewijn Group can now offer companies in the ornamental plants sector the Connected concept, which enables you to fully exploit the opportunities presented by the shorter supply chain. With the Connected concept, Van Dillewijn Group can fill your online store with products that appeal to your customers, without you having to keep stocks of those products yourself. All the information, such as product photos, descriptions in several languages, and stock levels is automatically provided. Stock information can even be updated in (near) real time if you so wish. The products ordered are packed ready for shipping and delivered to you split into individual orders, keeping your handling costs to a minimum. Let s get connected!

connected We can get anyone Connected! Thanks to our many years of experience and our advanced technology, we can connect with every one. We have an in-depth knowledge of every e-store technology there is. Broadly speaking, our online store solutions can be described as follows: Full integration in the exporter s online store This is the ultimate form of integration. Besides flowers and/or plants, you can also sell the extensive range of the Van Dillewijn Group companies in your own online store, offering your customer even greater added value with familiar products. We fill the digital backdrop to your online store with our hardware, enabling you, as an exporter, to expand your range at a single stroke and offer one-stop shopping to your end customers. Because we work in partnership with all the main software suppliers (including Alfa, Florisoft, Axerrio, Match Online etc.), creating this link is a very simple matter. Once the commercial side of things has been finalised, it s simply a question of plug and play, and thousands of articles are added to your range. E-trade E-trade is the future standard for message exchange within the flower and plant world, with more and more exporters making the switch. Van Dillewijn Group is already able to communicate using the E-trade standard. In many cases, therefore, the link-up is simply a matter of plug and play! Even if your software supplier has not previously linked up with us, there are more options than you might think. In principle, we can connect with anyone and that includes your software supplier! Green Range, unbranded shop If you don t (yet) have your own online store, your customers can still choose from the extensive range, without having to click on endless links and without seeing the Van Dillewijn Group name. We have an online store that operates under the Green Range label, where you can register your own customers with individual settings for each customer, if you so wish (surcharges, currency, article groups etc.) The options are endless. Branded shop: an online store with your own branding If you would prefer an online store with your own name and branding, that s not a problem! For a small, additional charge, the GreenRange

online store can also be customised with your own branding. In terms of the look and feel, the customer thinks he is in your own online store which, of course, he is. Range As the various companies of the Van Dillewijn Group have selected only their best products, the online range comprises approximately 3,000 firstrate products, ranging from product groups such as packaging, floral foam, ceramics, glassware and basketwork to seasonal products for Christmas, spring, Valentine s Day and Mother s Day. By adding these product groups to your range, you can offer your customers a total package -one-stop shopping, in other words. The range is constantly expanded and updated and new products are regularly promoted in a newsletter. Logistics Orders are packed at our 4,000 m² distribution centre, situated just 5 minutes from FloraHolland Aalsmeer. Orders which we receive by 6 a.m. are delivered by noon the same day. The orders are packed and prepared for shipping by end customer code. The package is placed on the cart clearly marked with an end customer code. If you wish, we can affix your barcode to the box, so that our boxes can be identified during automated distribution. The order is then delivered by the shipper, in your box. All you have to do is place the box on the correct flower cart, and you re ready to go. The process 1. We hold an initial meeting to explore the commercial opportunities and investigate all the technological options, as well as the route we must take in order to establish a link. 2. This is either followed by plug and play (if we have previously linked up with a similar ICT package) or we will start discussions with your IT manager or software supplier. 3. After this, a number of tests will be carried out in order to establish the link. 4. It is advisable to first test the link with one or more pilot customers. 5. Once the pilot has been successfully completed, we can roll the system out to all your customers. If all goes well, this process can be completed in as little as two weeks - meaning you will be ready to sell many more products to your customers within a fortnight.
