How do I know if I m eligible? Applicant mut be a U.S. citizen, permanent reident, or international tudent. Applicant mut have a high chool diploma, GED, or have completed the Ability to Benefit. College tudent mut be enrolled at leat half-time or plan on enrolling at FVCC for the upcoming academic year (2015-2016) and have a cumulative 2.0 or higher grade point average (G.P.A.). Previou cholarhip recipient need to reapply each year for cholarhip. How do I apply? Complete the attached application form. Attach a current academic trancript (official or unofficial). Attach a one-to-two-page eay dicuing how your FVCC education will help you achieve your educational goal, dicu what your educational goal are, explain your need for cholarhip upport, and give a brief account of your activitie, community upport, and employment. Attach two letter of recommendation, including one letter from a faculty or taff member. The econd letter hould be from a community member, employer, family friend, or other non-relative who know of your qualification and character. If you are not a current tudent, both letter can be from a non-relative.
