Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. The role of psychologists has diversified to cater for the needs of the individual as well as for communities, professions and organisations. The EduTrust certification scheme is administered by the Council for Private Education (CPE) a statutory board formed in 2009. Further, EduTrust also requires that the students must be covered under a medical insurance coverage which has provision for hospitalisation, surgery and treatment costs throughout their course duration. Clinical experience and knowledge of psychometrics would be an advantage.
