QUICKREG SENIOR GRADS! Congratulations QuickREG Seniors who took advantage of the opportunity to attend QuickREG on Saturday, April 26 and are now considered College Students, registered with classes. Remember, if you need to change your schedule, you can do so in your WebAdvisor. Financial Aid assisted many students on Saturday; still have questions please come with your picture ID to review with a technician after you check your FAFSA SAR, log-in to read your report. Remember 10-Days to Pay if you do not have a fee-waiver (QuickREG students have the advantage of financial aid checking your information before you came 4/26), and you plan to pay for classes, you need to either make the payment on WebAdvisor, at the Cashier at Yuba College, or at Admissions at our Sutter Co. Center, Yuba City, or schedule a payment plan at yc.yccd.edu, Financial Aid tab, within 10-days of registering classes! The computer will automatically drop your classes if you do not pay for your classes, don t arrange a payment plan, or have the fee waiver! Be sure this does not happen!! REMEMBER TO SCHEDULE A COUNSELING APPOINTMENT for a full Ed-Plan in Sept./Oct.! Instructions are at yc.yccd.edu > New Students > follow the Steps in order to register classes. Instructions to set up your WebAdvisor and REGISTER CLASSES are on pg.7 of the Schedule of Classes. Additional instructions are on the website under Admissions. Set-Up EMAIL & PORTAL: refer to page 14, IMPORTANT TO DO AS SOON AS YOU REGISTER; check every day! APRIL 28 begins NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION for both Summer & Fall 2014 semesters if you have applied, tested, and submitted online orientation. APRIL 30 is the day you may start to register if you have not done anything as of yet. IMPORTANT: The longer you wait, the more difficult it can be to go through the registration process and register with a good schedule of classes. MESSAGE IS: DON T WAIT!!! SCHEDULE OF CLASSES for the SUMMER AND Fall 2014 semesters IS posted on our website yc.yccd.edu for BOTH Summer & Fall semsters for which you can register classes as soon as you have completed the NEW STUDENTS STEPS. NEW: a few printed schedules will be delivered to high schools to be kept as reference copies in the Career Centers and Libraries for student use; also available on our website using internet. CENTER OR YUBA COLLEGE where they will enroll you into the class if it is available. You can check online if it is available before you come. MATH BOOT CAMP: SENIORS! Are you disappointed with your math scores on the placement exam? Signup for a 2-week program at the end of summer, before fall begins, designed to help seniors to place into the appropriate first math course at Yuba College, QUICK refresher program that is FUN, INTERACTIVE, and it is based on your specific mathematical needs FREE! If you decide to retake the placement exam for Math, consider enrolling in the Math Boot Camp The Math Boot Camp is an intensive two week program at the end of summer designed to help students place into the appropriate first math course at Yuba College. It is a quick refresher program that is fun, interactive, is based on your specific mathematical needs, and is totally free! For more information and to register: http://ms.yccd.edu/math-boot-camp

Police Modular Academies Offered Fall 2014 YOU M U S T SIGN UP FOR THE POST ENTRANCE EXAM (Pellet B) F I R S T BY CALLING (530) 749-3879 EXAM IS OFFERED MAY 10 OR JULY 12, 2014 Levels III (First level) Aug 9- Oct 29 Wed & Fri evenings 6-10 & Sat.8-5pm Level II (must complete III first) Aug 16 Nov. 18 Tu, Wed, Fri evenings 6-10 & Sat. 8-5pm After successful completion of the Pellet B exam, students can then register for the class. You must be 18 years of age to be in the Modular Academy. The FAFSA will cover tuition expenses only, not uniform and other costs.
