2 Department Services Testing English and Math Assessment Instructor exams for students with accommodations Make-up instructor exams General Educational Development (GED) Distance education proctors Tutoring Train all Napa Valley College tutors through the College Reading & Learning Association training program Tutoring Centers consist of: -Writing Center -Math Center -MESA Additional tutors are deployed with specific student success programs
3 Assessment Testing On Site: Student must complete an admissions application prior to testing NVC staff administer assessment tests at Napa County high schools English and Math assessment, Multiple Choice, Paper and Pencil Test Results returned during follow up orientation or through counseling office via NVC outreach staff Drop-In: Student must complete an admissions application prior to testing Drop in testing, begin testing, M Th 8:30 AM to: As late as 4:00 PM for students taking both English and Math assessments As late as 5:00 PM for students taking one assessment Student MUST have a photo ID (Driver s License, School issued ID ) Results printed and returned to student immediately after completing the test English and Math assessment, Multiple Choice, Computer Based Test
