INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS testimonies LIU FANGLING "After two months of feeling strange in a new culture, I am now adapting to life in Peru at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola. I have grown accustomed to the pace of life, and I am discovering this country with an open heart and open eyes. The sense of passion in the people contributes to an engaging learning environment, and the rich culture of the country have created valuable learning experiences for me that I will carry throughout my life". ROBERTO CARREON "I m so happy to have been granted the opportunity to come to Peru to study at USIL. It was one of my life s objectives to live abroad on my own, and now I can say I ve made it. I have met beautiful people and made meaningful memories, while establishing contacts from all over the world, which I m sure will be helpful for my career in the future. I ve also been surrounded by very nice and helpful people, including the teachers who have helped me to adapt to the education system in Peru, which is different from my country. Speaking of which, this experience has taught me to value my own country given the new perspective I now have from living abroad. Even though I miss my family and friends in Mexico, I can honestly say that this has been the best experience of my life. Peru will always have a place in my heart, and I hope to return someday". VIBEKE PRYTZ MOE "One of the best decision I made so far in my life is to study abroad in Peru. I have met a lot of people from Peru, but also all around the world. New friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I have gotten to know the Peruvian culture and tasted some amazing food. By far the best about Peru is all the places to visit; the highlands, the desert, the jungle and the beaches. Peru have places like Machu Picchu that we all know about, but also more hidden places that you would never think about visiting if you didn't live here".
