SSH Secure Client (Telnet & SFTP) Installing & Using SSH Secure Shell for Windows Operation Systems What is SSH?: SSH is an application that protects the TCP/IP connections between two computers. The software enables secure terminal sessions (Telnet) and file transfers (FTP) to and from the servers. It also enables the secured use of networked applications over untrusted networks. The encryption of the connection is done at the application layer, meaning that the security provided is available regardless of the network connection speed or type.
