Welcome to GlobalPhone Voice to Text Voice to Text service allows voicemails at your office, mobile, or home to be converted into emails that can easily be displayed on your mobile phone or computer(s), eliminating the need to ever log-in to a voicemail system and write down messages again. The following documentation will assist with getting your phone settings configured to use Voice to Text with your office line, mobile number, and even your home phone. Getting Started Configuring Voicemail settings for Voice to Text Forwarding Voicemails Through Email Settings The Voice to Text service works by forwarding your voicemails to our transcription server using an email address. Users can configure that email address information for their office lines through their Web Call Manager or using their Telephony Toolbar. You will need your Voice to Text personal voicemail box number to configure the voice messaging settings. After logging into your Web Call Manager, you will want to select the Messaging link on the left hand navigation pane. After selecting the Messaging field you will see the following screenshot. You will need to select the Voice Management link to gain access to the voice mail forwarding options.
Getting Started Configuring Voicemail settings for Voice to Text In the voice management area, you will need to insert your Voice to Text number into the call forwarding field using the voicedelivered.com domain. Example: 3035551234@voicedelivered.com By forwarding your voicemails to the transcription server at Voice Delivered, your voicemails will be transcribed and then delivered to your email inbox. Along with the transcription, you will receive an audio file that you can play on your computer or mobile phone device. Note: One can configure the email address in the Carbon Copy field as well. With this configuration, users will have voicemail delivered to their office line voicemail box and the Voice to Text voicemail box.
Getting Started Configuring Voicemail settings for Voice to Text For users that have a Telephony Toolbar, you will want to configure the voicemail to email settings under the Services button in the toolbar. Note: One can configure the email address in the Carbon Copy field as well. With this configuration, users will have voicemail delivered to their office line voicemail box and the Voice to Text voicemail box.
Received Message The voice mail is sent an attached audio file. The transcribed message appears in the body of the email.
Adding additional lines to your Voice to Text service Additional phone lines can be added to your Voice to Text service. The messages from additional lines will be transcribed and delivered to your email box along with the messages from your office voice mail. Using Voice to Text with your mobile phone To have your mobile phone messages transcribed, you simply need to configure your mobile device to Call Forward No Answer so that voice mails will be sent to the Voice to Text voicemail box. The Call Forwarding No Answer options for most mobile phone carriers can be configured using the codes listed in the table below. Mobile Carrier Verizon ATT/Cingular T-Mobile Alltel Call Forward No Answer Code* Dial *713035551234 and press send. Dial dial *004*13035551234*11# and press send. Dial dial *004*13035551234*11# and press send. Dial *713035551234 and press send. Call Forward Deactivation Code Dial *73 and press send. Dial ##004# and press send. Dial ##004# and press send. Dial *73 and press send. *You will use your specific Voice to Text number in the call forwarding codes. 3035551234 is a sample number.
Adding additional lines to your Voice to Text service Sprint Mobile Users Sprint does not have call forwarding codes available, and sprint mobile users need to call the technical support line at Sprint. When speaking to technical support at Sprint, explain that you want to activate CFNA (call forward no answer) and CFBUSY (call forward busy). If you activate CFBUSY, you will still get a call waiting prompt and calls will be transcribed if you do not take the call. Explain to them you want your cell phone to ring normally 4-5 times and when you don t pick or when you are unavailable you would like your phone to forward to Voice to Text phone number. Note: You may incur additional Call Forwarding charges from Sprint. Please check with your Sprint customer service representative to understand any additional charges. Note: For all users that set call forwarding on the cell phone, you will want to make sure you have set up your voicemail greeting on the Voice to Text voicemail system. Adding a home line to the Voice to Text Service "Call Forward No Answer" is widely available on most home/office phones. If the feature is available, you will want to setup your office phone system to set "Call Forward No Answer" to your Voice to Text number. Call forward no answer allows your phone to ring 3-4 times and then forward to your Voice to Text mailbox when you do not pick up. If this isn t an option on the phone itself, please contact your home phone service provider to have them set it up for you.
Voice to Text Voicemail Platform Accessing your Voice to Text Voicemail platform You will have a Voice to Text voicemail box that is separate from your existing office line voicemail box. Within this voicemail platform, you will be able to set a personal greeting, access your voicemail messages if needed, and change your PIN number on your account. Setting up voicemail greeting on the Voice to Text Service 1. Dial your Voice to Text number and hit the '*' key during greeting 2. Enter Pin number and hit the # key 3. Press 0 for options 4. Press 1 for voice greetings 5. Record your voice greeting 6. Press 1 to accept your message and to save Changing your PIN number on the Voice to Text Service 1. Dial your Voice to Text number and hit the '*' key during greeting 2. Enter Pin number and hit the # key 3. Press 0 for options 4. Press 5 to change your password/pin 5. Enter Pin and hit the # key
Voice to Text Voicemail Platform Accessing your Voice to Text voicemail to check messages 1. Dial Your Voice to Text number and hit the '* during greeting 2. Enter PIN number and hit the # key 3. Press 1 to listen to messages Note: Your voicemails will be delivered to your email inbox and can always be accessed via your email client. By dialing your Voice to Text number is simply another way to listen to your voicemails.
