1 CommPortal Go to User Name: Your 10-digit telephone number (no dashes) Password: Your voice mail password Summary Click here to manage forwarding.
2 Messages & Calls You can play your voice mail messages from here and they will be removed from phone. You can also record/ send messages to people within your organization from here by clicking on New Voice Mail. Enter 7-digit telephone number of person you want to record the message for where prompted.
3 Contacts You can manage your contacts in this screen and import up to 1000 contacts from a.csv file.
4 Contacts Shows the extensions built within the Business Group. This screen is View Only.
5 Contacts Shows the Short Codes/ Speed Dials built within the Business Group. This screen is View Only to the end user, but is customizable for the Business Group Administrator designated for your organization.
6 Contacts This screen shows you how your line is configured for forwarding. This screen shows you how your calls are set up to forward.
7 Call Manager If you activate Call Forwarding from your phone, you can de-activate the forwarding using this portal. You can activate it here as well. Click within box to activate or de-activate. Enter number as you would normally dial it.
8 Call Manager You can control where your calls go when your line is busy or not answered and how many times your phone rings before it forwards: Ring cycles are 6 seconds per ring seconds = 6 rings.
9 Call Manager You can pre-configure forwarding destinations:
10 Settings - Security The Settings section relates to your voice mail allowing you to change your password, how your messages are played and delivered: Changes your voice mail password. Not available with this system.
11 Settings - Preferences This screen allows you to change caller-id how calls are identified on your phone as well as forwarding preferences:
12 Settings Messaging This is where you can set up the system to send a copy of your voice mail messages to your . Check this box if you want your voice mail messages to be saved on your phone AND sent to your e- mail. Leaving unchecked will only send voice mail messages to your designated address.
13 Settings Messaging Skip Pin: Fast Login: Auto-Play Voic Auto-Play Fax: Voice Mail Playback: Allows you to log into your mailbox without using a PIN when calling from your own telephone. Checked by default. Allows the system to identify your number when calling in to check messages from your phone. If unchecked, you will need to enter your telephone number each time you log into the voice mail system to check your messages. Allows you to go directly to your messages as soon as you log into your mailbox without pressing any buttons. NEED TO ADD Allows you to turn on/ off the system generated date/ time that the message was left before you hear the actual message. Call Transfer and Numeric Pages: This feature allows the system to transfer a caller to another number instead of leaving you a message. We program this as option 0 and this can be modified by contacting BayRing Communications at

15 Settings - Messaging You can change which greeting is played and also record new greetings from this screen: You can change which greeting your voice mail plays from here. Group Mailboxes are not available with this system. You can record greetings from your PC.
