Danielle Duell MBA graduate CEO, Spicers Group Prior to commencing the MBA at QUT I put a lot of emphasis on developing myself as a leader. But what I learned through the program and by reflecting during my studies were the gains that could be made by developing the people around me and not just myself. My career has advanced dramatically since completing the MBA and part of that is because of the confidence I have within myself, the understanding and clarity of what I want to do and how I can create value for the businesses I work in. 13

When I finished the course, Deloitte actually approached me directly and wanted to hire me to work in an area which was the subject of my research thesis.
