Why study business? The business world is constantly changing! leaders must consider the impact of environmental issues such as energy, pollution and water in relation to manufacturing and production processes, and overall business and management decisions. The Global Financial Crisis has changed the financial landscape of world markets and consumer purchasing behaviour. Technology has altered the way businesses communicate and interact with all stakeholders, and how managers and staff work together. A high value is now placed on knowledge systems and being a learning organisation. To meet these changes, all businesses must make decisions that are socially responsible as well as financially sound, and contribute to the growth of the organisation. Because of these changes, exciting career positions in business exist in industry, public and community sectors for graduates with strong business skills.
