Wake Up your ipad Press the Home Button If your ipad is not showing this screen it may need to be reset Hello > Swipe your finger to the right on the ipad screen slide to set up
Connect to APS Wireless Screen will have a message stating ipad is not Set Up Next Choose a Wi-Fi Network APS > Press Continue Select APS Press Next
Connect to APS Wireless Username: Your Student ID Number Password: Your StudentVue Password Choose a Wi-Fi Network Join Username 9821051 Password Press Join Press Accept
APS Device Enrollment Program (DEP) If you entered your username and password correctly you will see this screen. If you do not see this screen, go Back and try your username and password again. You may find that it is necessary to do this several times. <Back Next> Arlington Public Schools will automatically configure your ipad. Getting Connected to our MDM System Our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system is called Airwatch Welcome to ipad Get Started Select Get Started
Connecting to Airwatch Now that your ipad has successfully connected to our MDM system you will have two pages of apps. Swipe over to the 2nd page and look for the App called Airwatch. Select it. If you do not see Airwatch, select Deployment.
Installing the AirWatch MDM Agent Look in the right column for Airwatch MDM Agent and press the Install button next to it. *Note: If you had the Airwatch App on your screen, you can skip this step.

Sign in with your Apple ID Your Apple ID for Arlington Public Schools is Student ID@apsva.us Your Apple ID password was either given to you by your parent or it is Kenmore24.
About your Apple ID password The password is case sensitive (Teacher, please explain) The password is at least eight characters and contains at least one number If the password does not work, your ITC or other designated staff member can assist with resetting it

Apps are now installing You can close the App Store, or whatever else may be on the screen, and go to your home screen You will notice that you now have more apps on the 2nd screen The App Catalog is where you will download school apps
Setting Up Location Services Location services allows us to help find your device when it is lost. If your ipad is ever missing, let your teacher and/or the main office know immediately. On your ipad, go to Settings, Privacy, and Turn Location Services on.
Airwatch Location Services Airwatch needs to always have Location Services on to deliver apps to your device at school, home, or wherever you have Internet access. Select Airwatch from the Location Services menu. Change the Location Access setting to Always.
Setting up your itunes Preferences To have apps and books pushed out to you by the school or your teachers we need to change some settings on the ipad Select itunes & App Store from the Settings menu Turn on Apps, Books, and Updates
