OVERVIEW Vehicleonmap.com has partnered with Robokits India to bring a Real-Time Vehicle Tracking System. Real-Time Vehicle Tracking System is designed and manufactured in India primarily for individual customers and small business. A real-time vehicle tracking system installed in any vehicle (car, bus, truck, motorbike, boat, etc.) allows, owners, managers, logistic teams and finally loved ones to keep track of where their assets are at any time. This product is easy to install in any vehicle and even easier to use and take advantage of its features once up and running. Tracking data is uploaded via GPRS connection to a database server that stores the location, speed, temperature and other vehicle information every 30 to 60 seconds. This information is reported in an extremely user friendly interface at http://track2.vehicleonmap.com. LED STATUS INFORMATION GPS Error Led will blink continuously until the GPS satellites are providing valid location data to the device GPRS Led will blink periodically every 30sec to 60sec when the vehicle and location data is being uploaded to the server SIM CARD AND CELLULAR DATA REQUIREMNTS A SIM card with an active GPRS data plan will be required for this device to function Please follow the steps in the Appendix to insert sim card in the device Monthly data consumption will be between 200MB to 500MB per month The user alone is liable for any data usage charges amounting from the use of this device There is a yearly website service and maintenance that comes free for the first year Please refer to vehicleonmap.com for further details Supported cellular networks are Vodafone, Tata Docomo, Reliance GSM, Idea and Airtel USAGE STEPS Insert a SIM Card with active GPRS plan from one of the supported cellular providers Insert the GPS antenna in the SMA connector as per the pin-out figure 1. Pull out the Negative ve and positive +ve wires from your vehicle s battery and connect then correctly to pin 1 and 2 of the device Make sure the device and vehicle is not in parking or under building or structure Wait till the GPS error LED stops blinking Make sure that the GPRS LED is periodically turning on and off Register on vehicleonmap.com and activate your device with the information that you have received with the product Check out the live tracking of your vehicle at http://track2.vehicleonmap.com/ DEVICE INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATION / LIMITATIONS If someone removes device from vehicle, we are helpless. If water goes inside the device, it will stop working. Device will not work properly under building or parking due to less vision with satellite GPRS connectivity is required to work live tracker accurately Tracking and update rate is depended on reception to mobile network connectivity, server load and latency Water damage may be irreversible Over voltage on any connection may damage device Antenna for GPS must be on the dashboard preferably 3 P a g e
