SAN JACINTO COLLEGE JOB ESCRIPTION TITLE: EPARTMENT: irector, Recruiting Initiatives Office of Recruiting Initiatives SECURITY SENSITIVE: Yes FLSA STATUS 1 : Exempt SALARY GRAE: 27 FUNCTION: Provide leadership, management, and planning in administering the overall operation of the Office of Recruiting Initiatives, including but not limited to: acceptance letters, strategic communications, recruitment initiatives and processes; assessment of initiatives and processes; recruitment event programming; and operating the enterprise constituent relationship management tool. REPORTS TO: SUPERVISES: Vice President, Student Services Administrative Assistant MAJOR REPONSIBILITIES: Essential Job Functions 2, W, M, Q, A 3 %Time Maintaining Web for Prospects in Banner 10% collect, format, and assist with upload of prospect records. Extract prospects from banner to send out email W 5% communication campaigns Extract applicants from banner to send out acceptance W 5% letters (hard copy and email) Maintain in-bound and out-bound channels of 10% communication with prospective students. Coordinate and implement communications strategies to A 5% all prospect target markets Establish an effective and strategic enrollment plan for all three campuses A 5% 1 FLSA status and Salary Grade determined by the Human Resources department 2 All job functions MUST add up to 100% 3 =daily, W=Weekly, M=monthly, Q=quarterly & A=annually
Collaborate with Recruiters to establish recruitment programs that promote effective relations with relevant campus offices and external agencies Coordinate annual community and campus recruitment events Closely monitor the recruiting team and their activities to ensure proper and effective follow up with prospective students and applicants. Collect, prepare, and analyze data to present to team members and leaders Work collaboratively with the Enrollment Management team to implement and use Ellucian Recruiter (Customer Relationship Management-CRM) system. Maintain processes and systems that improve the quality of customer support services Must be knowledgeable about university transfer requirements, reverse transfers, and articulations agreements Coordinate, plan, and implement targeted recruiting events and activities at local high schools, in the community and on campus Must adhere to the highest principles of ethical behavior and strive to ensure the fair, objective, and impartial treatment of all persons with whom they deal Must use reasonable and informed practices to limit the liability exposure of the institution, its officers, employees, and agents Must possess outstanding customer service skills and have the ability to work with multiple projects and within deadlines Maintains all print and collateral recruitment material inventories Previous supervisory experience Must be available for occasional nights and weekends activities Education and Experience: Required Education: Bachelor s degree from a regionally accredited college/university required Preferred Education: Master s degree from a regionally accredited college/university required In-depth knowledge of functional aspects of Banner Student System modules preferred Experience with safeguarding confidential information preferred Required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, recruitment, admissions, and/or other related field preferably in higher education. Experience with an enterprise wide system. Ellucian Recruiter preferred. emonstrated experience with CRM systems or equivalent knowledge and how it is utilized in the recruitment environment. Ability to effectively utilize computer technology for email, data management, market research, student information systems and customer relationship management systems (CRM). Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in creating, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive communications plan. Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline intensive environment. emonstrate experience with budget planning and managing departmental budget.
