Commercial Real Estate Efficiency Program When you take advantage of our Commercial Buildings program, you can: Start with an Energy Efficiency Assessment. We cover the majority of the cost your cost to participate is $2,500. Save up to 15% or more on energy. If there are opportunities that require an additional analysis, we ll fund up to 75% of the cost for an investigative study, not to exceed $25,000. Prescriptive Programs: Heating Boilers used for DHW or Space Heating only Plan A Boilers: replace a non-working hot water boiler or install a new boiler where none existed before => 85% efficiency - $750 per MMBTUH => 92% efficiency - $3500 per MMBTUH Plan B Boilers: replace a working boiler that is less than 25 years old with a new 92% efficient unit - $7000 per MMBTUH ** Due to end with 2014 filing approval.

Prescriptive Programs: Heating Furnaces: $80 for 92% AFUE, $120 for 94% AFUE Water Heaters: tank-less or with storage, minimum 150,000 BTUH, => 92% efficient, $200 per MMBTU Boiler Tune ups: every other year, $250 per MMBTUH Pipe Insulation: $3-$5 per linear foot based on pipe diameter, R-Value

Prescriptive Programs Motors: Motors Plan A: install a motor where one never existed or replace a non-operating motor 1-500 HP that EXCEED NEMA Premium Standard by one full percentage point. Motors Plan B: replace an operating/functioning inefficient motor with a NEMA Premium motor must take out of service & SCRAP previous motor 1-500 HP that meet or exceed NEMA Premium efficiency standards

Prescriptive Programs Variable Frequency Drives: Drives placed on 1-200 HP motors that are used on FAN or PUMP applications. Drive rebates are currently available to customers who replace existing drives. VFD Rebates will go down for 2014 except for: 1.5 3 HP = $600 rebate, 5 HP = $900, 7.5 HP = $1130 Prescriptive caps out at 200 HP = $12,000/$10,500 (2014) rebate ECM (Electronically Commutated Motors): ECMs that replaced shaded pole motors within refrigerated display cases or (freezer) display cases Rebate is $40.00 ECMs that replaced shaded pole motors within walk-in refrigerators or walk-in refrigerators. Rebate is $70.00 EC Motors used for other functions such as fans within HVAC systems, do not qualify for prescriptive rebates at this time.

Prescriptive Programs Lighting: Qualifying equipment includes: LED Troffer Fixture & Retrofit Kits DLC QPL Required LED Parking Garage Fixture DLC QPL Required High-efficiency fluorescent T8 systems High-bay fluorescent systems, replacing high intensity discharge (HID) systems Low watt T8 lamps: 28W or 25W CFL fixtures replacing incandescent systems that use three to five times more energy Occupancy and daylighting sensors ENERGY STAR -qualified interior LED screw-in or pin-based lamps, and interior LED downlight luminaires, replacing incandescent or halogen systems that use three to six times more energy LED wall pack fixtures Parking garage T8 Lamps LED cooler and freezer case strip lighting (for five and six foot doors)1 replacing less efficient fluorescent systems Exterior LED canopy or soffit fixture replacing HID systems that use three to six times the energy ENERGY STAR qualification not required. New Lighting Measures & DLC requirement, effective March 21, 2014 Use of Design Lights Consortium Qualified Product List is in affect. The DLC QPL will be required for the following prescriptive rebate measures. LED Parking Garage Fixture Rebates Available LED Parking Garage Fixture Prescriptive Retrofit Rebate New Construction Rebate 25W 60W $135/fixture $50/fixture 61W 83W $175/fixture $50/fixture Invoices must be dated on or after Month 21, 2014. Prescriptive retrofit rebates are for a one-for-one fixture replacement of high intensity discharge (HID) technology. Replacing or retrofitting fluorescent fixtures may qualify for a rebate through our Custom Efficiency program.

Custom (Non-prescriptive) Programs For equipment and conservation efforts outside Prescriptive requirements or not covered by the Prescriptive Programs ***Preapproval required Rebate amounts and energy savings vary by project Programs include: Straight Custom Efficiency: Windows Insulation Geothermal applications Roofing Window tinting Energy Management Systems Business New Construction Energy Design Assistance Data Center Efficiency

Custom Programs Preapproval letter will outline energy savings and rebate amount Will also include time frame for implementation typically 24 months If project scope changes it may require reanalysis Rebate amounts vary with the project s energy savings. But the more energy your project saves, the more rebate dollars you earn up to $400 per kilowatt (KW) of electricity and $4 per dekatherm (Dth) of gas saved.

CUSTOM Energy Management Systems Colorado businesses can earn rebates on improvements to building controls with our Energy Management Systems (EMS) program. We offer funds to help you automate energy intensive functions in order to power equipment only when needed. As a result, you get increased efficiency and lower energy bills year after year. You must receive preapproval before you purchase or install any equipment.

CUSTOM Energy Management Systems Purchase new equipment only (used equipment does not qualify) Retrofit the EMS in an existing building (new construction projects may be eligible through our Business New Construction programs). Potential projects include central controls for: Lighting HVAC CO2 Sensors and outside air management Pumps Boilers
