Spitbank Fort Main Features: The project had many great features and facilities including themed luxury bedrooms with en-suites, sun deck hot tub, sauna and fire pits, commercial kitchen and high specification restaurant, crow s nest apartment with light house, recreation rooms including massage, wine tasting and more. A CHP system consisting of two 80kVA diesel generators provides the Fort with space heating, domestic hot water and electricity, while bespoke low energy and specialist lighting was installed throughout the Fort to maintain its authentic stature. Careful planning of cables, pipework and plant were required throughout the whole scheme to meet with the English Heritage requirements to conserve the existing features and avoid modification to any of the building fabric. 11 commercial

Portsmouth Grammar School, New Science Centre Main Features: The new Science Centre at the Portsmouth Grammar School was a new build construction with a floor area of approx 2800m2 over three floors. The building featured various laboratories; break out spaces, classrooms, staff offices and a 120 person lecture theatre. The building has a natural stack ventilation system, and also featured bespoke LED lighting in the main entrance, as well as many energy saving measures throughout the rest of the building. Sovereign Harbour Medical Practice, Eastbourne Main Features: Sovereign Harbour was a new build medical centre on the Eastbourne coast. The medical centre was built over two floors consisting of nine consulting rooms, three treatment rooms, admin and staff offices, large waiting and sub-waiting areas and a minor ops area including surgical theatre and recovery rooms. The circulation areas featured underfloor heating, while the occupied rooms had space heating and comfort cooling supplied from a VRV reverse cycle heat pump. Solar thermal, photo voltaics and LED lighting were installed to reduce the Carbon Footprint of the building. The project value was 1.6 million. 19 health
Berrywood NHS Ambulance Data Centre Main Features: This 260K Design and Project Management project involved the mechanical, electrical, fire protection and emergency back up support services, while the data service was in action Mechanical work included replacement of the air conditioning system with a new internal distribution system utilising cabinet style high level delivery flow, and external forced-air condensers. Electrical work included the creation of a new electrical intake room receiving a new main utility and a new remotely located 200 KVA standby generator supply. Internal electrical work included the balance load wiring of additional data supplies, installation of a cabinet of batteries supporting an auto-change over arrangement utilising 150 kva N+1 UPS system.
