IBM Sametime is a client server application that provides real-time communication and collaboration facility. The capabilities include presence information, instant messaging, screen sharing, audio/video conferencing and online meetings. Configure Lotus Same time for Video/Audio Conferencing Server IP Address:- 10.205.48.58 ongcim.ongc.co.in 10.205.48.65 del-stmeet.ongc.co.in Installation Double Click sametime-connect package & Click Next

Click OK

Click Next

Configuration of Sametime Community Server Double click on Lotus Sametime Connect Add Host server ongcim.ongc.co.in User name & Password: The credentials are same as that of Webmail.

Click Log In When the user is logged in, connected will be seen at the left bottom of sametime as shown in below figure. Click No if do not want to keep chat history. Later Click - Preferences

Under Preferences Instant Meeting Tools In Right Panel Choose Tools Select all 3 devices as shown Than Click Apply. Click on Test my Audio/Video tools to check if the audio/video devices are working.

On Sametime Meeting Rooms Meeting room windows -- Select Sametime client meeting room as shown Than Click Apply

Expand Sametime Meeting Rooms Click Add Meeting Room Server Under Connection Settings Tab, Enter : Host server: del-stmeet.ongc.co.in Port: 9080

Click OK Then Click Apply Click Voice and Video tab, check if the correct Speakers, Microphone and Camera is selected. Click Preview to check if Web cam is installed or not and Camera is working or not.

Select the check box: Automatically show my video when I participate in a voice-enabled session. In Voice and Video expand it and click on Service Providers

Note: - If Voice and Video is not visible just logout and exit and relogin it again If Camera & Audio is not installed you will not able to view Voice and Video Tab under Sametime Meeting Rooms.

To Add Contacts Click on the icon as shown below Next type User Name or CPF No and then click Lookup

When user is found, click on add Mark the dialogue box.

It should show all tools available as follows

To add a new group Click on New Group Then Select Add a new personal Group & write down new group name.

Right click on the group, in which you want to add a contact. Then select Add contact

Select User from the list & then click on add button

To place a video call Or Right click the user to whom you want to place video call & click Video Call. To remove any contact right click and select Remove from Contact List

Right click the contact and select Call Computer to place an audio call. Right click the contact and select Chat for Instant Messaging.

In the Video Call window, at the bottom:

Configure Lotus Sametime for Meeting Login to Sametime Connect Click Preferences Sametime Meeting Room and select Sametime client meeting room as follows To create a new meeting room: Below Contacts you will see Sametime Meetings as follows and click on New Meeting Room

Provide a name for meeting room; Password is optional; Under Voice & Video Tab using dropdown menu select Sametime Audio/Video Conferencing as shown.

Under Voice and Video also check Allow Video Tab as shown below for placing video call and click OK You will see your meeting room under My Meeting Rooms within Sametime Meetings Tab

Click on Enter Room as shown below Afterwards click on telephone icon and click Join call with my computer

When you click on Join call with my computer, video session will be started.

To invite other users to join the meeting room:

(When multiple users are joined to the meeting room only the speaker s video will be placed in front of all users who are members of the meeting.) Now You can share your Application, My Screen(Desktop), Documents (like pdf, doc, etc) To Mute the participant:

To End Call:
